My husband asked for a ping driver, but I'm getting him a gun instead. Like an assault rifle or some shit. Something that will fit in a golf club box, but instead be a bad ass gun. What could I get around $300- $500?

He's never owned a gun, but that doesn't matter. It's not rocket science. What are your suggestions?

I suggest he leaves it laying in the lounge room, loaded. That should solve some of your annoying children problems.

Thanks for the advice, dickhead.

The annoying kids are old as fuck and know not to blow their heads off, but I still have the little one in the house. He can't keep it here, he has to take it to his shop.

Isn't it usually the young ones that whack the older ones, shit for brains? I don't know why all you needy askholes seek advice on the Internet for if you don't expect stupid answers.. Jesus wept.

I was looking for suggestions because I don't know a damn thing about guns. But he mentioned it a few times and I thought it would be more of a surprise than the stupid golf club he told me to get.

WTF is wrong with you, are you on crack? My kids aren't going to whack each other or anyone else with the fucking gun, goddamn. Asshole.

That's what the other few hundred Americans thought last year when they got a gun and one of their kids shot them or another one of their kids.

And your husband asks for a Ping driver and you decide to buy him a gun in spite and you call me the asshole? Look in the mirror, shitlord.

That's sweet of you to get your husband something that he didn't ask for and that he'll have to leave the house to enjoy. Crafty too.

Maybe let him pick his gun of choice? This Florida chain has holiday gift cards and they'll run the background check too.

They have rifles and handguns and ammo and accessories and on-site ranges...

Unfortunately, your husband won't be able to rent a gun there before buying it. They had to abolish the rental program because 11 people over the last couple of years had to ruin it for everyone by blowing their brains out with one of the rentals at the chains' ranges. Every one of them white males. The analysts say that's because white males don't wanna mess up their own homes (seriously). Cheap selfish bastards.

I'm not buying him the gun in spite, he's mentioned buying a gun before and I thought that it would be more of a surprise than the golf club that he told me to get.

He's always kind of had an interest in getting a gun, but I didn't like the idea of having it in my house with the kids. Now my oldest kids are 17 and 21 so I don't worry about them anymore, but I have the three year old now. However, he has a warehouse outside of the home that he can keep it at and I think he would like to go out to a shooting range. I don't know a damn thing about guns so I thought maybe FU or someone could give a suggestion.

That's the last time I explain myself to you, I think the body snatchers captured you and you went full retard.

I know, hopefully he does the same and gets me that Ferrari I've been thinking about.

Not in this thread (yet).

Why would you rather have strangers advise you on what gun to get your dear husband rather than let him pick his own "tool" of choice?

I think the gift certificate is an averagely intelligent suggestion, personally -- I'm standing my ground.

He can get his own guns or golf clubs, yes. But I want it to be a surprise. He already knows about the stupid ping putter or driver or whatever the fuck it is, but he's not expecting a gun. A gun which he has expressed to me before that he would like.

The only problem is that when I walk into the gun store I don't know what the hell I'm looking at or even what to ask for. I'll be in there looking like a damn fool. Even more than usual.

Well, I'm sure you'll get some good tips from Mock's gun enthusiasts.

Hopefully, Santa will be reading this thread and it'll help him choose just the right gun to stuff in ramsey's Christmas stocking too.

P.s. I hope you get the Ferrari, but for some reason I don't picture you as much of a flashy-car driver.

Well this has proved to be no help. I'm probably just gonna go down to brown town and get a bump while I'm there.

I would make sure he is not hiding a secret mistress from you before purchasing a surprise gun for him....

He loves his kids too much for that. I'm a good mother and pretty decent wife, I don't think he want's to off me.

You make it sound as if I was asking for relationship advice or some shit. I was asking about fucking guns for Christ's sake.

I couldn't get the gun anyway because I lost my license while I was on vacation and they wouldn't accept my passport card. I don't feel like sitting at the DMV for three hours to get a new license so it's back to the golf clubs. Which is another thing I know fuck all about. I think I'll start a golf club thread just to annoy you.

I don't how you figure that, you're the only one that seems annoyed here. You'll most likely end up fucking that thread up too and up annoyed all over again and since the only person here with even as much as a passing interest in golf is the resident perv, you may as well save your self the embarrassment and just pm MS
