Greece is in tough shape financialy

Will Goldman Sachs take it out on other investors when Greece defaults 3/20? That's just one payment another will come next month.

It's been very bad there for some time. Mock has a Greek Member but I haven't seen him in awhile.

I worry about the ripples that might wreck havoc in the world should they default. It wouldn't take much to upset the apple cart.

If it weren't for you & a few others I wouldn't have a clue about many current events. I know things are sucky in Greece but I didn't realize there is something looming that has the power to affect so much. I have shallow concerns like, is it warm enough to use the pressure washer and did the Sweet Pea self seed around the pergola and now in my mind I'm coveting Hot D's bougainvillea.

Seriously, the bougainvillea and geraniums have completely taken over the front of my house and ¹⁄₄ of the sidewalk now. It's really kind of an amazing sight.

In Greece No means Yes and to hell with the future. They live for today. The happy jubilation of the No vote has been replaced by anger. Welcome to bankruptcy 101 folks. Germany needs to hold strong and let them swelter for the rest of the summer at least.
That's like me getting pissed at my neighbor for not making the payment on my Lamborghini that I can't afford.

I think my hairstylist may be starting to suffer from dementia. I'm not going to even attempt to convey everything she said to me on Friday but here's a summary of what she said:

* Did you hear about September?
* Because of what's happening in Greece and China, the US markets are due to collapse and the dollar will be worthless
* The Book of Revelations says a Muslim will be in office when the second coming of Christ (the Rapture) occurs. A lot of people think Obama is a Muslim.
* It's like a big secret; some people know about September and some people don't know. My dad told me about it.
* I'm scared. I've been told to take my money and buy gold. Oh, and stock up on canned goods and water.
* Fuck that, I'm stocking up on wine.


I don't know. I sent my financial adviser/investment manager husband a text about it (I figured he'd appreciate my giving him a head's up about the impending market collapse/Rapture due in September). Oddly, it's been two days and he hasn't responded or even thanked me for bringing him in to the "know" group.

That's OK most know about gold/silver and to get out of the euro and invest towards Asia ...............at least for now. If you've just started though. It's to late.
