Well I can't call people who compliment my car niggers, that would be rude. Unless they jacked me afterwards, then I guess it would apply.

Maybe they're jacking it in their minds Sal. Jesus said that's the same thing as actually doing it.

I've had a couple of fat boys, a heritage, heritage soft tail, vrod and most recently a fat bob. Got kinda tired of the off the shelf models and fell in love with this custom.
I don't know why the photo didn't show up at first, but wow. Thats a beautiful bike! Looks fun to ride!

I don't mind the look of those naked bikes. I nearly bought a super mortard once, but at 6'4", I just fit on a hog better. It suits my riding too; is rather just cruise.

Well, I knew it was going to break. Now my car has ED. It can't keep it's hatchback up. Now it opens when you press the button and then just flops shut. Every time. At least it's consistent.
There's no way to keep it open so it just sort of lays on my back when I'm putting stuff in/taking it out. Time to call my mechanic. PITA though; he'll want my car for most of the day (as would a dealership, probably...for a lot more $). I usually rent a car for the day...it's just a hassle.

I'll bet when it is fixed it stops trying to eat people. And also will reverse when it hits something.

My car has buttons that I STILL don't know what they do. Here's a radical idea: pulling out the owner's manual to find out about hatchback reverse sensors and stuff! It probably would be helpful to know how the damn thing was SUPPOSED to be working before I get it fixed.

No, she isn't in a home yet but we do have my other cousin whom is a trusted EMT taking over her bank account. We are still digging for information at this time. I will definitely keep you posted.

Very nice.

Not even lol...
my husband has a Verrrry good job, we've gotten really good deals, and we manage our money well. Seriously...financing an HD, makes for much smaller payments, and it takes no time at all to pay them off. But a,couple we paid cash for...because the deals were too good to walk away from. Buy low, sell high, take the profit and pay off what you want to keep or to invest in another good deal. Some people collect figurines or carnival glass...we collect Harleys

About 10% of the time the hatchback opens and then just as me (or someone else) decides to reach in there and get something, the wicked thing starts closing again. Me and several kids have been whacked by the freaking thing. And, once it starts closing, there's no way to stop it except sheer muscle and a battle of wills. It's not easy...that motor (or whatever) is a strong little fucker. I know forcing it is eventually going to break it but it's not MY fault it's evil/possessed.
Get it fixed. This is not normal. you and Sally both.

Yeah well the damn thing is bipolar. One or two days it works just fine and then *bam* I get smacked on the head or it's like the jaws of life closing in on my midsection.
It's become a battle of wills and I sort of relate to its unpredictable temperament. It's a challenge every day; me against the hatchback. Wasn't there a movie years ago called "The Car"? Yeah...me against my psychotic car. I just tell the kids to stand back now while the car and I sort things out.

I remember watching a race and the car that was sponsored by Viagra had a problem with the hood popping up all the time.

It. Is. Not. Normal.
Dammit. Get it fixed! LOL
Could be an electrical issue. could be mice chewed some wires, could be a key fob issue even. If I had your make, year and model I could research it (If the bandwidth would allow) I was trying to look some stuff up yesterday and it was pretty slow, so I gave up. I like these kind of challenges though.
I worked in a shop prior to where I am at now. We had a customer vehicle whose doors would open on their own. Turned out to be a common problem with her vehicle-even took it back to the dealership for a recall and a fix.

Alright, alright!! Some people call them struts or pistons but SUPPOSEDLY it's a fairly easy DIY job and they can be bought for $50 ea (a little more or less). I guess it's a good thing I've let the damn thing land on my head or otherwise beat the crap out of me. One guy just stood back and watched and when his hatchback decided to slam shut, it shattered the rear glass.
I'll have to do a pelvic hatchback exam and see if I see the supposed "easy clips" that make changing them out a "piece of cake" as one person put it.
One idiot tried to use the motor to open his with like 5 feet of snow on it. SURPRISE! It broke. Dummy.
Thank you for inspiring me, Lovely, clumsy, Child.
I'm still pondering the "retard" remarks, mountain ho'.

If you can't remember that many posts back, it sort of calls into question who the retard is.
Retard.
