My SIL is coming to spend a month with us so I picked up another cable box for the guest bedroom since my son took the other one out over a year ago for what reason I don't fucking know. So I start to hook it up and of course the goddamn power plug to the TV is missing too for what reason I don't fucking know. There was absolutely no reason to take it out of there since it doesn't work for anything other than that TV. He has a deep drawer in his desk so I looked in there for it and found a goddamn tangle of cables and wires and plugs the size of a fucking beach ball.
I can't express how much this is aggravating me.

The missing goddamn power plug or the SIL coming to stay for a month?
Do you know who James Corden is? You stay up later than I do so maybe you do. I just discovered him and I think he's funny as fuck. I was going to say he's a short, chunky lil' cutie but but he's my height. Heh.

Hey Aussie, I just read that Oprah is auctioning some of her things (stuff from her closet) on Ebay. All bidding starts at .99. No reserve.
March 1. 11:00 AM EST.

Gee . . . and I thought I was the cruel one.
Oprah is losing weight, selling her FAT wardrobe and now you think it would be a perfect time for Aussie to get a deal on quality clothing . . . IN HER SIZE!
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would witness something so horrid and personal.
For shame!

Ohmaigawds!
I didn't give the size a second thought. Hahaha! I saw Oprah surrounded by dozens of shoes and bags, stuff like that. I die. Still laughing.
BUT...now that I think of it, Oprah is a yo-yo dieter so there will be a variety of sizes.

Yeah . . . I'm sure there's a boatload of skinny wear up for grabs.
And FFS . . . just 'cuz she banged black, she sure as shit doesn't need to dress like a jiggaboo.

The missing goddamn power plug. We have drawers full of cables and wires that I have no idea what they go to, but when I actually need one it's nowhere to be found. Like the fucking charger to my camera for example. It drives me crazy.
I've never heard of James Corden. I'll have to check him out.

I couldn't help but notice that the trophy from the disabled veterans to the bank CEO that helped with a fund drive was a leg from the knee down. It was a tan color not quite black, not quite white.

I can't find any "finished" fireplace/cabinetry pictures I like but our existing fireplace is going to get torn out with some cabinetry surrounding the fireplace and the t.v. above. Mine won't be white, the fireplace surround will be spectacular...but generally speaking, I sort of like this arrangement (my wall is wider...the fireplace will be wider in relation to the cabinets for aesthetics and to allow for a big, fat tv.
This pic is boring but it's the general idea. I'm going to have to bump my remodel thread since it's actually moving along now. It's tiring.

March 1. 11:00 AM EST. That's good she is doing that. But there is no way I could afford anything. They start the bidding at .99c but for sure it will sell for tens of thousands of dollars. I think it is great because the money will go to help others. Lucky people who can afford a piece of history.
I saw a documentary on the auctioning of Princess Di's dresses sold when she was alive. It went and interviewed different people and how much of a responsibility it is to own it, how to care for it etc. Some of her one off couture actually still had some of her make up on it.

This is the hardest month of the year. It lasts so friggin' long. I'm going bonkers from being confined. Help.

It was a beautiful day, huh. I finally got to go riding and me and my horse were the happiest souls on the East Coast. It was bliss.

Yesterday I went to the Daily Mail and before my eyes could snap shut my brain had instantly read about a dog thrown overboard in order to distract a polar bear. I saw the picture too. I get this shit in my head and I can't stop thinking about it. I try to never see crap like that because I know how I am. Poor dog.
