Denver did Sanchez a huge favor cutting him so he could go to Dallas. They could have dicked him in order to try and get trade value, and he wasn't gonna play in Denver. This way he'll basically start in Dallas and have a couple months to try and snake the job from Romo the fragile flower. By cutting him loose they let him make his own deal. Class move.

Our rookie QB is the starting QB week one. He's smart. Really smart. He can read the defense and hit his routes. I'm excited to see him work this year. He's a work in progress, but that kid will be franchise. Pederson has built a strong running game around him so that he doesn't have to carry the weight of the team to get the W. As Cutz pointed out, our defense is looking really good. I see a playoff run for Wentz in his rookie year. Balee DAT sistah.

Sanchez redefines suck. Romo is safe. Dak will get that job if anyone does. His preseason #'s lead the league. As an NFCE fan, I'd like nothing more than to see Sanchez behind center in Dallas.

S Eric Rowe to the Pats for OL Josh Kline, and from the sounds of it, Howie isn't done yet. He's looking to trade Kline.

No offense Donno, but your team isn't going to do shit for at least 4 years brosif. The Superbowl curse came down on the Broncs harder than I've ever seen before this year. Your shit is in shambles.

Man they don't call you blindgreed for nothin, do they? If we had anything resembling an O-line, I might be inclined to agree with you. However, until Fletcher Cox plays both sides of the ball, I'll stick to a 7-9 prediction.
We've historically had bad corners and our LB's are transitioning back to 4-3. Offensively, we have an aging LT, a huge hole at guard, and our RT might get suspended halfway through the season. Add in a rookie QB, suspect WRs, and a RB that wears the moniker "When healthy..."
Well, I'm not buying playoff tickets. Cle, Chicago, Detroit are winnable games. Maybe we start off 2-2. If we split with the NFCE rivals, that's 5-5. Bradford WHOOPS OUR ASS week 7. Week 11 through 13 will be harsh, @Seattle, GB, @Cinci, we lose those. 7-9 is us beating Baltimore and ATL, which is arguable. We'll see.

Pedersen has Mathewes, Barner and Sproles so that Wentz doesn't have to put the team on his arm his first year out. Optimistic? Of course I am, I'm a die hard Iggs fan.

This has become an annual tradition: submitting my picks prior to the season for each division and then the post-season.
In 2012 I nailed 49ers-Ravens for the Super Bowl (with Balt winning).
I've also had some forgettable guesses as well.

Nah, I wouldn't go that far. It would have been way worse if Peyton had won those games for them but dude was a non factor. And they still have Kubiak and Wade Phillips coaching, the exact right guys to be in place for strong defense and untested QB. I'm not sold on Simeans or whatever his name is, tonight will be a real indicator because I expect Carolina may have juuuuuust a bit of an edge lol.
Do I think they'll repeat as Superbowl champs or even contender? Well that would be optimistic. But they aren't gonna tank, they still have too many solid pieces. And I'd be okay with a 9-7 type year after last season. That Superbowl was a fucking gift from the dark gods and even us diehards know we got very very lucky with that one.

I would love to see the Broncos silence a few people tonight but I think Carolina Panthers are maybe a little bit angry. Could be a tough game.

I know I had an issue with Cam after the SB last year and his post game presser.
One thing I've never had a problem with though is his enthusiasm in-game, and in particular, his dances/celebrations after a TD.
I'm really glad they don't throw a flag for that.

Watching Cam run an offense is excruciating.
If I were a Panthers fan it would drive me nuts.
2 minute offense: no sense of urgency.
HARD TO WATCH

That was a very satisfying game, better than the first lol. Kid made mistakes but I liked his poise. Reminded me of watching some of the greats come from behind. Not flashy but methodical. Hopefully the rest of the year goes that well but they also got quite a bit of lucky breaks tonight.

Problem with hotheads like Cam is you can get in their heads. Carolina was awful at managing the clock tonight and he was rattled after that first big hit. Wasn't happy about Denver using the helmets though, that was Bush league bullshit.

A lot of fundamental mistakes last night. Typical of the new NFL.
