Aww, honey, I'm so sorry. You've talked about him with me before so I'm familiar with some of the things you've gone through together.
Someone once told me that this pain is the price we pay for loving our pets :(
How's your daughter doing? She had him her whole life. *sigh*

How's your daughter doing? She had him her whole life. *sigh* She's having a really rough time with it, but that was to be expected. They grew up together. In many ways he was like a brother to her. I sat with her while she cried and held him in her arms. We stayed with him for a good hour after he passed. We told cute and funny stories of our memories with him. After we left, she cried for a few more hours and she was making plans for what to do with all of his things he left behind. This morning we donated his food and meds to a local pet shelter, but she won't turn loose of his beds (he had one for every room in the house). I'm not sure what she's going to do with them, but she was very adamant about those being his beds and no other dog should ever lay in them.

I understand that. I felt the same way about my last beagle's things.

I understand that. I felt the same way about my last beagle's things. I'm definitely not touching them again. I had them in the trunk of the car this morning before we went to the shelter. If any of the neighbors were still asleep they weren't after she chewed my ass for trying to donate them.

Sorry, BH. I know it sucks. I have three dogs buried in my yard now and everyone of them I cried my eyes out while digging the hole.

The whole world (except for MS) loves a pet. People spend over $60 billion dollars a year on them.

Looking back it was money well spent. Lil greed got a clay paw print and his ashes will be returned in an urn with his name on it which was really important to her. We always did the family burial like Sally when I was growing up, but this is better IMO

I would sell my guitar if I had to pay for my babies. It's the weirdest thing that has happened to me, I have noticed at work I show pictures of my doggies the way I used to when I had an actual baby.
The great thing with modern technology, we can take pictures on our phones and take them to work and show everyone that walks in the door the cutest shot you just got of your babies.
I think MWS is just trolling inappropriately, I don't think he is really serious.

I'm laughing at Sally because the mental image in my head made me. It involves her covered in mud though.

If you're French kissing this guy now, make sure to gargle with salt water afterwards, aussie. You don't wanna get mono. Or herpes.
And, try not to get yourself in a pickle -- don't steal second.
Have fun and let us know when you're rounding third.
