Reward offered in search for missing Fulton County woman Bicycle found in corn field; FBI enters investigation
METAMORA, Ohio — A private donor has offered a $25,000 reward for information about the disappearance of 20-year-old Sierah Joughin, whose bike was found in a cornfield on a Fulton County road this week.
Authorities also have put out an alert to talk to a jogger who may have seen her before she was reported missing on Tuesday night.
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office said Ms. Joughin, of Metamora, was last seen at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday on a purple bicycle in the Evergreen School District area. The bike was later found on County Road 6 around midnight, about an hour after Ms. Joughin’s mother called to file a missing person report, Sheriff Roy Miller said. click link below to continue reading

Do you remember a case from a few years ago where the girl riding her bike disappeared. There was some video from a business that had everyone focused on a white pickup. I wish I could recall more than that. I remember it being talked about in here and I think it was while LC was still alive. I know those details are vague but it's all I remember. I thought of that case immediately upon reading this one.

Worley and his home do sound very creepy, Butterfly Girl.
This is one of several cases in the last few years where the suspect is potentially linked to other unsolved crimes, in part due to advancement in forensics technology and databases.
I'm glad Sierah's remains and a suspect were located so quickly. Hoping for quick justice for Sierah and anyone else Worley victimized.

Evidence, snipped from Butterfly Girl's links...
While conducting the search, police found blood on Worley’s motorcycle, as well as zip tie restraints, a ski mask and mace in Worley’s truck.
They also uncovered a hidden room covered by hay bales in Worley’s barn, which contained a freezer that was lined with carpet and locked from the outside with a ratchet strap.
Based on the evidence found at Worley's home investigators then searched Worley's cell phone records and found that he had spent nearly two hours where Sierah's bike was found, as well as the area where Sierah's remains were later discovered.
A further search at the property found evidence of blood on the walls of the hidden room, restraints and blood in the freezer.
Worley confessed to police he also had hidden cameras, including a "nanny cam," on the property.
Several pairs of female underwear were also found, one of which had blood on them.
Duct type found by police on Worley's property did contain the DNA of both Worley and Sierah.
According to the police report released, Worley was not allowed to shower after being booked at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio (CCNO).
The documents also say that Worley told a court mandated therapist after his first abduction conviction that he had learned from his abduction and was going to bury the next one.
The police report says Worley kept video, journals, receipts, etc., which fits the profile of a serial offender, meaning he could potentially have additional unknown victims, possibly kept at his home.

I'm close friends with people that live in that community and although it hasn't been released to the public yet, word is they have found the remains of numerous others on and around his property.

I get so sick to my stomach when I read about torture chambers, or holding cells.
I hate it when people are preyed upon.
I hate it that sick bastards can get away with this sort of thing for so long and I hate it that it is going on right now as I type and there is nothing I can do about it.

It's really sad to imagine the terror that abducted individuals go through at the hands of predators.
I think the case that you and Duchess remember is the abduction and murder of Mickey Schunick. She disappeared a few years back while riding her bike in Louisiana. It was her 22 nd birthday. :(
The guy in the white truck turned out to be convicted sex offender Brandon Lavergne. He was indicted for Mickey's disappearance and the disappearance of another woman 13 years earlier (he'd already served 8 years for abducting and raping a woman).
To get the death penalty taken off the table, Lavergne admitted to knocking Mickey off her bike with his truck and murdering her; she fought hard. He also admitted choking to death Lisa Ann Pate in 1999.
He's behind bars for life and now trying to rescind his confessions, even though the piece of shit led authorities directly to Mickey's remains.
