The Pipelines and passes....
#41
Again..........the claimed knowledge is that this whole thing started over not getting $20 million instead of $10 million. That's bullshit, unless you or Gunnar or MS's dad and brother are privy to some information that I've never seen and doesn't appear to have been alleged by any of the parties publicly.

And, this whole thing at Standing Rock is not about who owns the land.

All parties know, and it's clearly documented, who owns the land where the pipeline is under construction and it's not the Sioux. That's not in dispute.

The claimed knowledge is that this is about money. Not a sacred burial ground or water source. The government requires a contingency plan for spills because spills happen. That contingency plan was accepted by the government and is sufficient including a supply of fresh or bottled water for animals and humans and reparation for any environmental damages incurred. This isn't about what they would like everyone to believe it is, but the story sounds better than the truth. Also, why did Obama wait this out? There's footage of him speaking to the idea of core of engineers plotting a different route YEARS ago. Seems strange that this went this far. I wonder if it has anything to do with the discovery of another huge oil field in Texas a couple of days ago? Weird huh? But ahhh yes... The whole idea of American natives protecting their lands is far more romantic and heart warming. Especially around the holidays on a year when he will be vacating office.

And before you even ask, the feed is crammed with recent news about Obama and the pipeline it will take time to come up with a search for the interview.

Gunnar, the bolded part of your quote below is 'the proclaimed knowledge' that I questioned you about, not what you just posted.

Go figure...

You should have no problem providing the source of ^ that proclaimed knowledge if it's true. But, you can't, so I consider it unsubstantiated bullshit. Plus, ETP already publicly denied the rumor that it ever tried to bribe the Sioux.

As far as your opinions and reference to Obama that you just posted, I'm aware of Obama's positions and interviews (though I don't follow Facebook). It takes two seconds to pull up an interview, but no need.

In any event, I never said that politics, finances, posturing, and valid complaints (on all sides) aren't factors in this matter. They almost always are in these types of disputes and this one is no different based on the court docs, interviews, and articles that I've read.

It's true, but nothing from the past is coming up now. All I get is page after page of 2016 and Obama blocking the pipeline. It's fucking laughable.

It's fucking laughable alright, Gunnar.

But, go ahead and keep insisting that what you claimed to know is true, based on a 'blip on the radar' you saw somewhere that has since disappeared.

I'm off this reservation now...

No surprise there. You were never on it. You prefer your warm fuzzy feelings to the truth.

Yeah, Gunnar, it's no surprise at all that I was never on your BullshitBluff reservation where truth and knowledge consists of unsubstantiated vanishing blips on the radar, obvious hoaxes, lame deflection, and debunked lies floated on fake newz sites.

So, just keep doing what you always do -- digging your heels in and insisting that the latest such 'truth' of yours is fact, despite failing to be able to substantiate it and deflecting for days. I guess it's easier for you than admitting, 'I can't say for sure, actually', or 'I was wrong' -- like most reasonable adults do when we can't back our shit. Maybe if you practice?

Nah............you're too old and stubborn a sucker. But, you're our stubborn old sucker, so onward ho! There's a new pile of steaming bullshit labeled 'chocolate' right around the bend, just waiting for you to swallow it whole.

There's nothing like a great "steaming pile of shit" visual.

True artistry!
