You are a true friend, Sally. Should I assume you're going to catch it and start down now? Not much will make me happier than being gifted a goat!

I've wanted a goat for a long time, BayBay. I'd let 'em be free range.

It's going to sneak up on you, have you done anything to prepare?

It's going to sneak up on you, have you done anything to prepare? Listen to Christmas music, record favorite Christmas specials and movies, buy bigger pants.
Watched Elf on the Shelf last night. It was extravaganzalorius.

I'm looking forward to A Christmas Carol. I like the old versions the best.

The best and true one that stays with the real story is the Mr Magoo one. I really like that one.

Almost all of my present shopping is done. All except for the ammo that my oldest son requested. I'll get that on Black Friday. We don't do a Christmas dinner, we do an appetizer buffet. The grocery store had a sale on all sorts of frozen apps last week, so my deep freeze is stocked full of potato skins, mozzarella sticks, scallops wrapped in bacon, etc. I will only have to worry about perishable stuff the week of Christmas. The tree is already up and the house is decorated, we downsized on the tree this year. Went with a 2 foot tall live one in a planter, made it much easier to decorate.

Hubs finally scored a win in the gift giving dept.
This came in today:
He put the box under the tree with a bow on it, and told me I wasn't allowed to touch until Christmas....Asshole, I want to beat him.

It looked similar to this sewing machine though.

More than likely it was an older version, and I was just being an ass. I'm surprised that your mom let you use her machine, my egg donor wouldn't let me near hers.

Are you referring to your mother? Given everything I've read of yours it looks like you are the polar opposite of her. I know what you do for your kids and your step-daughter and her kids too.

When I was in H.S. I tried to fix the hem on a pair of pants on my Mothers, I feed that fucker and it just kept on building up and I yanked on it then tried again and everything pilled up then I floored it and something snapped. I closed it up and went camping that weekend. I stuck with chain saws ever since.
