Hey, I like Clang's style. Then again, I'm not a snob!

Will do.
I had to look up Bono's height; never realized how short he was. Still, at 5'6", he's got a 1⁄2 inch on me.
Oh HoTD I hope you are not referring to me as a snob. I am anything but, because I know who I really am. If you knew the state of my life at the moment and the quagmire of litigation that I am in, it is quite depressing, I feel anything but elitist.
So you are shorter than Bono? And you also have the Trump thing in common too. I just know you two will hit it off......as friends of course.

No Maggot the fact that he is named woman of the year is a great honor and something all men should aspire to. It shows that he is truly a man who knows who he is and has embraced his masculinity 100% to the point that he is able to be a voice and advocate for woman. I dare say this is the award he should be most proudest of. It will make a difference breaking down hostilities and misconceptions on both sides. Perfect.

That's old Clang. I got co-workers at work telling me I look like I'm ready to go on a job interview. Clangmaster Z got some swagger now. My new winter coat is da bomb, yo.
Grow your hair Clang so that you can put product in it and have some style to it. Also, if you wear glasses, which from memory I think you do, make sure they look groovy and stylish. You can't really fail with designer label. I believe in you Clang. If you are cleaning up your act, I am so proud of you.
I tried growing my hair for months and months with very little growth. I am balding and my hair looks better with a crew cut/buzz cut. I only need a haircut about every 3 months or so.
I was going to go with Harley Davidson brand glasses($30) but I cheaped out and went with the 2 free pairs of sunglasses that only cost me $12 for the tinting so I could use one pair as sunglasses.(Sorry.)
I am trying to clean up my act. I have a bookcase in my room now. I have beer signs and other grown up stuff as well as nerdy and kid stuff.

Too short is too harsh for ladies unless you luke chicks with tattoos on their faces.
Style starts with you. It's a process of learning and growing of what looks good.

You know you don't have to spend loads of money to have style. You have to look around and develop your own groove and your own style. Crew cuts are a turn off. Don't buy cheap glasses. Shop around, go second hand shopping and see what kind of gems you can pick up clothes or hats wise.
Its true that stylish stuff does sometimes cost a lot of money, but that is not always the case. You just have to be really committed to being the best version of yourself that you can possibly be. Put some elbow grease into it Clang, and for Gods sake stay away from the crew cut. At least with length you can go to a hairdresser and they have something to work with. You will frighten women away with a crew cut. No excuses for not being stylish you have to commit yourself to it and just go for it. It's up to you, no one else.

Actually I really thought MWS' obtuse thread would flop but it's actually a hit.

Clang/HoTD, shame on you for calling me a snob. I am anything but that. An atrocious obnoxious drunk, I will own that. I have made far too many mistakes in this life to put myself on a pedestal. I know my place.

Fortunately I have you here to keep it thriving.
I love it when you give Clang 'Life Pep Talks'.
I think he's putting a lot of your ideas into motion.

Crew cuts are my style, snobbyfriend. The rest of your post that I didn't quote, contradicts the part I did quote.

The words 'crew cut' and 'style' do not belong in the same sentence. There's not such thing as a stylish crew cut. It just sounds like a lazy, easy, can't be bothered with my hair do. It's just wrong on so many levels.

Hey Clang, have you seen Donovan around elsewhere?
I'm hoping he's just MIA because he hooked up and is in the honeymoon phase with a hot but neurotic chick who will ultimately break his heart, same as it ever was.
I'm not worried about him or anything, but do think people discounted very good points he made during this election cycle. I appreciated his historically-based perspectives and won't be surprised if some of his predictions come to pass. I miss his smart ass (don't get excited Duchess!).
Then again, I've actually been missing Cynical Ninja's smart and totally fucking annoying ass lately as well.
I think sally and I could still make them both cry in a battle of the sexes virtual showdown. Alas, they be gone................

I'm kind of disgusted about Aussie telling Clang how to do up his hair. You are a fucking bitch.
