Have you ever noticed how some in older generations tend to equate food with love? They are little food pushers, "here, have a little of this, a little of that. Sit down, eat, eat." Surely some of you have encountered that.

My Mom was like that. She didn't mind if her "growing" boys had seconds or third helpings of food.

Both of my grandmothers, several GF parents and grand parents like that.

My MIL (Bless her soul) always said, if you're full, just pick at it.
After picking and picking, all of a sudden half the meal was eaten!
