What exactly would they be?

Lets see, since Trump became president we are now much safer, there are so many more jobs now, we are saving money not to mention the family is so handsome and nice to look at! Did I leave anything off? Oh yes, how could I forget, and now we are only getting our news from the most reliable, trustworthy news sources! Oh and one more! How could I forget? We are not wasting our time talking about global warming, climage change and we won't be pestered by those crazy scientists telling us how to run our small or large businesses because of EPA regulations! Whew! Soooo much better now.

I'm glad that a better vetting process is in place for countries with extremist ties.
I'm glad that the dept of education is getting shook up to get students to matter more than the teachers teaching them
I'm glad that the EPA rules are getting a second look
I'm glad that climate change science will be scrutinized better to allow for true debate.
I'm happy that ISIS will be addressed in real terms not imagined dreams.
I'm hoping that voter fraud will be investigated thoroughly. The Dems should appreciate this as it may prove that they are right and there is no voter fraud.
I'm glad that Obama care will be adjusted towards a more business like and profitable venture. I realize once a bad law goes into effect its tough to fix the bad parts.
I'm happy Clinton didn't win. No need for another one of those.
And last but not least .............................A true independent has gained the white house. I know he's doing a good job because a few chuckle heads are pissed.

Thank you.

hah.............Yes Trump is president and yes he is doing what he said he would. I foresee some time on the links in his future. I do understand why people have a need to complain. It was inevitable.

Good. I'm sure you didn't mean to make my day, but thanks anyway.

Anyhoooo...I can't say it bothers me that you crybabies will be miserable for the next 1450 days...at least. More than likely, it will be 2910 days. Just remember, stress causes 75% of medical issues.

Banned was the exact term used during the creation of the Executive Order, even your boy trump used it. Do your own homework rather than expecting others to do it for you. Although you are one of the back row kids so it comes as no surprise you'd rely on others.

It looks like the House is going to repeal a rule that prohibits pollution of water sources near mines. Why would they do that? Ugh.

Yeah, the wall, maybe it wouldn't be needed if the previous administration would let the border officials enforce the laws already on the books. But it looks like it will be needed. Mexico may be able to make a copy of it for their Colombian border. Or they could just continue shooting people coming across their border.

Donald Trump talked about a 'Muslim ban' during his campaign. He referred to his Executive Order as a temporary 'ban' in interviews. His press secretary Spicer referred to 'the ban' during a briefing on the Executive Order. There's video of both Trump and Spicer describing the order as a 'ban'.

But........ when all of the media outlets report on what they said in their own words, Spicer chastises the media for using the word 'ban'. Dishonest and completely idiotic.

A ban based on religion would have been unconstitutional, something which Donald Trump was made acutely aware while he was still promising his devotees a Muslim ban.

So, while it is still in fact a ban, it's a ban that affects everyone (regardless of religion) from 7 different predominantly Muslim countries based on nationality. It's thus technically not a "Muslim" ban; it's a "nation of origin" ban which appears to appease Trump's devotees nonetheless.

Ban = to officially or legally prohibit
Reply
Switching the ban criteria to nation of origin doesn't mean that Muslims and others have no basis to believe that the ban's target is Muslims. That's exactly what Trump originally promised and that's what good old loose-lips Giuliani told the press this weekend on FOX News with Jeannine Piro. Rudy said that President Trump intended to execute a Muslim ban and asked Rudy (former Federal prosecutor) for advice about how to do so.

In any case, temporary or permanent, based on religion or nationality..... it's asinine for the administration and supporters of the Executive Order to claim that it's not a ban and that President Trump never said it was. The majority of the public is not blind or stupid. For those of us who didn't hear Trump and company refer to it as such proactively themselves, easily-accessible video/audio disproves their current lie.

I really wish the administration would just focus on tightening up the execution of the ban and quickly outlining the very important entry exceptions that they failed to take into account before launch. The ban affects the lives of many people in the U.S. and across the globe, engaging in an effin' semantics game doesn't successfully deflect from some of the ban's errors/oversights which need to be addressed.
