I watched a lot of video of that march and all I saw was a whole lotta love. I didn't see a single clip or any pix of those women shouting obscenities and ranting against the police. Where did you see that or read about as the case may be. I'd be interested in seeing that.

I'm going to assume the Muslim woman you referred to is Linda Sarsour, correct me if I'm wrong. She didn't start it but she was a co-chair, it was started by Teresa Shook, she lives in Hawaii and she posted about having a march on her FB page and from there is snowballed until it encompassed the world. Teresa is a pretty, white, middle class gramma, Six. She's all American.

The Washington March drew 440,000 to 500,000 people, and worldwide participation has been estimated at five million. At least 408 marches were reported to have been planned in the U.S. and 168 in 81 other countries. After the marches, officials who organized them reported that 673 marches took place worldwide, on all seven continents, including 29 in Canada, 20 in Mexico and one in Antarctica. In Washington D.C. alone, the protests were the largest political demonstrations since the anti–Vietnam War protests in the 1960s and 1970s.

That's a pretty significant event to have been accomplished so peacefully.

The women's march was to protest the election of the most stupid, unstable con-artist President in history which includes his sleezy treatment of women and his attempt to mess with some of these rights....Women and other minorities have fought long and hard to obtain equal rights...and yes, that includes pay which is not equal.....We want to go forward, not backwards.....we will soon be labeled a 3^rd World country under the direction of dummy Trumpy.

I think to fully understand, you may have to go back to the 60's and put yourself in the shoes of women (since we are talking about the Women's March) during the era of the Civil Rights Movement....it was said in recent years, that we had come a long way......maybe not if old white male politicians keep trying to oppress women (and other minorities)....and the religious right get their way.....

If not for my breathing issue, I would have been proud to march in the Women's March and most of us (women) saw it as a positive event.....there were some negative comments written but were not truthful upon checking....I like to check most of my stuff on the usual sites before I spread lies and gossip on the social media......and I don't watch Fox News.
