It’s interesting that Trump is (I heard) demanding (I mean suggesting) that the senate go into recess to allow his cabinet selections to bypass the normal vote process? I put a question on that because I’m not certain that’s accurate (or doable). Heard too that he wants a say in the next Senate majority leader (and I’m sure he’ll have influence) but that he’s getting some pushback on that.

The one that stuck out to me today was the Fox News host as Secretary of Defense. I haven’t been watching/reading much news but as of yesterday, the little bit I’d heard was that at least several of his picks had good experience/resumes. I don’t even know that much about the Fox News guy but…as S.O.D.? Interesting too Musk and Ramaswamy in new government efficiency capacities. Not opposed to government efficiency but yeah, he’s got some characters on his team.

My old dog was a lab mix. This one is a dead ringer for a kooikerhonje (google that if ur interested). 25lbs of non stop energy. The good news is she doesn’t wander like my last dog (good thing given our property isn’t well fenced); she sticks close to me. The bad news is she sticks close to me. I can’t take a crap w/out her at my feet waiting for me impatiently.
