Sarah Sanders told the press this morning that holding the President accountable for promoting a divisive and violent environment is as wrong as holding Bernie Sanders accountable for the left-wing nutjob who shot Steve Scalise.

She's right about the latter half of that statement, but way off-base about the first part.

The day Bernie stops strongly and immediately denouncing violent acts and starts encouraging his supporters to punch + 'knock the hell out of' political opponents and praising assault against journalists.............Sarah Sanders can make such a comparison without it being a blatant false equivalency.

What I do hope to see from leaders on the left is that they stop stooping to the President's level. Joe Biden doesn't need to talk about how he'd like to take Trump behind the stadium and beat him up. Maxine Waters shouldn't be encouraging people to circle and shout down members of the administration when they're off-the-job with their families. In my opinion.

Investigators have determined that all of the pipe bombs were mailed from the same U.S. Post Office.

That should go a long way towards narrowing the field of potential suspects.

Sounds feasible.

First there was the blue wave going to sweep the house and Senate control from the Republicans.

The outrage with Kavanagh was suppose to energised Democrats and demoralize Republicans. The Republicans are well ahead in early votes in critical states.

So they manufactured a caravan to energised Dems and demoralize Republicans. This failing they try Plan C.

I could see how they could think that and it doesn't sound outside the realms of possibility.

I'm surprized this hasn't been solved yet, it looks like an amateur did it but it also looks like someone or some organization that knows how to do it without getting caught. But they will be caught because there are to many ways to screw it up.

Illogical conspiracy theory trumps truth and reality for a sizable percentage of the population based on their political party affiliation and/or complete devotion to the President.  

If they don't like or know the facts............they deflect, make up ones to fit their political beliefs/preferences and insist they're true, go down rabbit holes, and attempt to discredit those who focus on the reality at hand.  It doesn't surprise me anymore.

On a separate note, I just heard that investigators in Opa-Loka discovered a pipe bomb package which was addressed to New Jersey Democratic senator Cory Booker.  Now, I feel kinda bad for making that joke upthread about him feeling left out and praying for one.

They also found a pipe bomb package addressed to former National Intelligence Director and Trump critic James Clapper at CNN.
