Packer fans are crying in their Old Styles this morning.
Whining like never before, claiming ‘cheap’ and ‘dirty’ was the hit by Barr on their beloved QB.
Here are a couple of quotes from Viking fans in response to the Cheeseheads:
“You have to understand the cheddar mentality. Other than 9 games, they’ve had a HOF QB at the helm since 1992. The Vikings have gone through 24 QB’s in that span. The Bears 30+. And Rodgers has enjoyed an unprecedented level of protection unafforded all but maybe one or two other QB’s. So when someone actually hits the golden boy and there’s no flag, cheddarville erupts in outrage. The level of entitlement is stunning.”
“It’s not a dirty hit. That’s your problem. Every pundit outside of Sconni has said it was a good, clean hit. As did the refs, which considering the kid glove treatment Rodgers gets, speaks volumes.”

Vikings fans literally had 48 hours to enjoy his Monday Night season opening performance and then he’s put on the ‘questionable’ list by Friday.
He took a beating last year, and ran for his life behind one of the shittiest OL’s ever assembled, and came out unscathed.
Yet, in the season opener, he took 2 total hits all night, but he’s somehow done?
Perplexing. If you think Bradford's knee injury was unexpected you haven't been paying attention MS. His knees have always been suspect. He also had a severe shoulder injury coming into the NFL. When he was an Eagle, I held my breath every time he got hit in hopes that he wouldn't be carted off the field. It really is a shame though. He's accurate, he can read a defense coming out of the huddle, he has quick reflexes and he protects the ball. Too bad his body couldn't hold up or he'd have had a long successful career as an NFL QB.

^ I agree with your assessment of his play.
Again, my surprise was at his getting injured in the first game when it was an almost perfect, ‘clean’ game for him in the pocket, whereas, last year, he was hit, I believe, as much as anybody in the league, and survived.

If something happens to my QB I am wailing like a 2 yr. old...just saying.
It's tough being an Eagles fan. That's not a complaint, it's just my experience and it's something I have accepted. I'm enjoying this season so far but I know it's possible that heartbreak is right around the corner.

Clay Matthews tried to destroy Teddy 2 years ago, and a 15 yard penalty was assessed, but because Bridgewater got up from that hit, no one talks about it.
Typical whiny Packer fans.
The most entitled fan base on the planet.

What about the Patriots?
I hate that Maggot's going to read that. *cringe*

You’re right.
They’re #1 and #1A, in no particular order.

I think "entitled" in this description should be "respected" Although the Pats are having a real tough time even beating mediocre teams lately. I have seen calls go against them in quite a few games.

The TD the refs took from the Jets was pretty unbelievable.
I’d go so far as to say if that were the Patriots or Packers the call would NEVER have been reversed.

I see the Eagles have reached the top spot in a handful of this weeks Power Rankings.
They’ve put in the work.
I’d still have them #2 behind KC because KC beat them, but I understand the argument for them ascending to #1.

Ronald Darby is practicing this week. I would love to see him back on the field Monday night.

For a few days I get to enjoy my team having the best record in the NFL. I don't think I've ever been in this position before. I'd like to be a tiny bit insufferable but ever since I read that karma means "Ha Ha Fuck You" I've refrained from saying too much about it at all. Apparently I'm superstitious.

I think it's racist that you people get off watching a bunch of niggers and a couple of white guys run around with a ball. But carry on.

Yep, I remember last season when my Vikes started 5-0 and had captured the top spot in the Power Rankings.
Hope your season turns out better than mine did.

Right now my only focus is on getting through Monday night with another win. I can't say I haven't thought about winning the NFC East though.

Had a minor to major roof repair that ate my Sunday and made me miss football. Was kinda bummed until I woke up and saw the score. Now THERE are the Broncos I expected to see this year...
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.
