But, I was really hoping MS's Vikings would be up against your Eagles this year. They sure played well this season.

Maybe next year.

HotD, I think a lot of the country was pulling for Minny, but there’s no doubt that 2 weeks ago Philly was by far the better team, and Doug Pederson completely out coached Mike Zimmer.

I could definitely see you wearing Helga horns.

It's not even possible for your Vikes to have been up against the Eagles in SuperBowl like I hoped, is it? hah

Now you see why I so rarely post in this thread. I don't know jack about football aside from the very basics.

I'll go back to lurking and learning. ")

I got a kick out of it, but we were all nice to you and didn’t give any smartass comments, did we?

Tom Brady’s Mom is from Minnesota and he said he considers himself half-Minnesotan.

What a dilemma.

I don't know if anyone but you and Duchess has read my ignorantly impossible hope post, but you were definitely nice about it. Smiley_emoticons_smile

Blood is thicker than borders. Brady's mom has always gotta be rooting for her boy.

I have $20 on the Eagles, no spread in the bet. So, I hope your prediction is off-base this time. I'd like to see Philly win their first SB.

I saw that the security around your stadium is at an all-time high to protect against terrorist threats. That's good.

Now, I'm REALLY going back to lurking and learning.

Okay, I'm back and slightly buzzed..............but I promise I'll be leaving this thread for REAL after this post.

Awesome game. Dancingparty

The Eagles end their SB drought, I make $20, and MS continues his forecast accuracy! ')

Well the :nail biter" is over! Terrific game.

My team lost, both the offensive and defensive "lines" left a lot to be desired!

Foles was as great as Brady!

Congrats Eagles!

A great game and ballsy playcalling throughout.

74 total points scored?

Wow, didn’t see that coming.

So, question.

Is Carson Wentz really all that because Doug P simply plugged in Nick Foles and won the damn Super Bowl.

Taking Malcom Butler out was a big mistake. I knew it was over when Brady threw that airball. The city of Philly got trashed though.

All of my local news comes straight out of Philly, NBC, CBS, ABC & FOX, not a single media outlet reported that the city of Philadelphia got trashed. How the hell does the guy from NH know that and locals don't?

Congrats on the win, Philly fans. Good game even if you didn't really have any vested interest in the outcome.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.
