Baron has a dog but he never gets to play with it.

I guess it was a rental car
they left it behind and it burned

Is it kind of wierd that they took a rental car camping? I don't know what kind of vehicle it was. Maybe they didn't have a vehicle at all?

So glad they made it out safely.

I spent all day inside, with the exception of stepping out a couple of times to take pictures and look at the situation. Not good.

The forests are burning up around me
people are on evac notice
I am not ok
this is very very sad
Canada is burning also-
Whose fault is that? People want to blame someone-just so they are not personally responsible for shit that happens-

The Capital Weather Gang told us last week that the smoke from the fires out west have reached the East Coast. I don't smell anything but it sounds like it's been registering in the air quality.

We’ve had smoke over MN since the weekend of Aug 10th.

It’s crazy.

I didn't realize how long we have been in smoke here until today when we finally saw blue sky and sunshine and someone pointed out that its been almost 20 days or more of straight smoke and haze.
I have been fucking depressed and seeing the blue sky today made me feel so much better.

Feeling depressed because of lack of sunshine is actually a real thing. I know because my boss sometimes experiences it and I see signs around the tanning salon speaking to the benefits of UV rays.

Love Child, I'm reading about wildfires in the PNW. Are you safe where you're at?

I've been to Lahaina, and have been through major fires a bunch. Succesfully saving a buddies house, my nieghbors and mine own home. And another time I kicked down a wood fence to save my sister in laws dogs with my bare feet, I was pulling splinters out for weeks...Now here we are in another high fire danger area, I worry...

Can you collect and store rainwater in a small water tower?
