Let's all talk about manspaining
#41
But "woman-splaining" is not a word used in any common way nor is there a genesis of ideological underpinning of it. There is of mansplaining. Why is that? Why when men:

"think the woman he is talking to isn't qualified. So he OVER explains something in a CONDESCENDING tone." that is mansplaining and a Feminist narrative.

BUT when a woman:

"thinks the man she is talking to isn't qualified. So she OVER explains something in a CONDESCENDING tone. What is that?"

that does not seem to have ANY unique description that is similarly bandied about in ideological circles as "problematic"?

There is a reason for this and it is not (as shown in the way it has been often used against me) an uncommon or disparate thing. Why do you think that reason is? I posit that for myself "I have never made it a "thing" nor have I been such a snowflake to try to invent a term or pathology for it, I took the grown up perspective that they were just arseholes"

Is that the reason?

You are such a grown up Fry Guy.

I imagine the term came about like this:
A woman tweeted some incident where a man over explained something to her, and several followed and posted similar stories and soon the word was invented and it took off.
If you want to head on over to twitter to see how many people have been "woman-splained" go on!

I can see that terms for common behavior really bother you.
To be a feminist is simply to believe that everybody should be treated equally, regardless of sex. It means you think that there should be equality of the sexes economically, socially, politically and personally. When you put it like that, it’s surely difficult for anybody to deny being a feminist. But for such a simple concept, it is often dramatically misunderstood.

I imagine the term came about like this:
A woman tweeted some incidental and trivial bullshit in an attempt to cast herself as a victim of some behaviour that was anecdotal arseholery and pretend it was a gendered pathology and virtue signaled with Feminist indignation, and several followed and posted similar virtue signal boosting attempts to be part of the oppression club of popular lounge chair Feminism, soon the word was invented and it took off.
If you head on over to twitter you will see the non-Feminist/victim-narrative-creators are posting for fun and laughs, have a look. go on!

I can see that the privileged Western World is marinating in a oppressive mire of their own imagination whilst never having it so good.

I think you are pretty right, Love Child. 10/10.

Good thing you know so much that you do not need to do any further research.

It looked like a gossiping corner. I personally don't think HoTD would know logic if it kicked her in the arse, much less Rootilda but that is my opinion and I will let them take the floor to jabber about it

HotD is often contrary for the sake of being contrary. It's her way. If you form your own opinion and she doesn't agree with said opinion, you are clearly of a much lower intellect than she is.  hah

When you argue bullshit, present it as fact or logic, and call me or others stupid or silly for not swallowing it....I'll sometimes call it out.

I don't care that insecure people lose their shit over it or think it means I consider myself "more intelligent on the subject".  Intelligence is general.

I can know that I'm more informed on a subject than you (or vice versa) without assuming that I'm more (or less) intelligent than you.

Disagreeing with you doesn't mean someone is losing their shit over it....does it? That WAS both stupid and dishonest....wasn't it?

These questions are rhetorical. I thought I would spell that out.

Similarly, disagreeing with you does not make their argument bullshit (in fact someone taking a contrary position to you is likely to be a positive step).

Furthermore, taking a different position doesn't make them misogynist, nor supporters of child molestation or rape apologists.

We don't go to those lengths when arguing positions. You do....don't you....Snowflake? Why is that?

Or in your case subjective. I don't think anyone is "losing their shit" here, nor do I think anyone could draw a conclusion regarding insecurities over what has been written. The fact that you even imply it could lead one to believe maybe you might have an issue. At any rate, you just keep on being you, you crazy diamond. Shine on.

Sometimes it's better to lose and do the right thing than it is to win and do the wrong thing.
