Do you know how toperform CPR ?...This is what the instructor told the class, "Bones can be broken & lungs can be punctured, when that happens you will hear it & feel it"...Also, performing mouth to mouth is a disgusting process too, so gross I'm not even gonna mention what was said...I thought Ishould learn how to do all that. ::doh::
I had to take CPR training when I was in the military but that was about a thousand years ago.

i also had to be certified in CPR for work. we had a mouthpiece for protection when doing mouth-to-mouth. but only the EMTs carried that around, however we could keep a dam-type thing in with latex gloves pouch.
if doing CPR properly the sternum should not break. unless it's a very fragile elder for example.
