the 2020 trivial drivel thread
#41
I found the video on thier FB page and the parents had the smarts to not allow her name to be given out. So there is that. The performance was in Trhove Sviny in 2017. Other people were inquiring about the girl who joined them on stage. And others noted that probably none of them knew what they were singing and probably didn't even speak English. (They might though, I don't know)

Alex Maxim TWINS :We would be more than happy to credit her but her parents dont allow to share her name so we dont have the right to do so. Please respect that.

The vocalist is our good friend. She is very talented and we would be more than happy to give her a credit. but she doesnt have any official profile yet. Her parents dont want to allow to share her name so we dont have the right to do so. They want to protect her from strangers. Please respect that.

Its being reported that about a third of the koala population has perished in fires since October. They are a serious chance of making critically endangered lists.

Conservative estimates are saying over two billion animals in total have burned.

Hey Crash,

and did you see that there are some species they suspect have been totally wiped out on Kangaroo Island, including a rare spider?

Were you in Sydney when all of this went down at it's worst?

Most of the time it was fine in here in Tasmania, but one day it was smokey but not as bad as Canberra etc.

I ended up donating for the koalas and that money will be used to help. It's only a small amount but it all adds up and we should all do something. I think those that are caring for the koalas and saving their lives are the best people on Earth.

I would be very interested to hear your experience and if it affected your Christmas.

nah, I was in the Hunter, Loosey Loo... the closest I got was the gospers mountain fire that came through the putty road, but it was still a long way away.

My daughter was evacuated from the south coast and we all (all three of my kids) ended up at my brothers on the central coast for Christmas with his family. I’ve been sponging off for a couple of months until I get the keys to my new place.

A new ‘aquaintance’ of mine works for the department of environment, science and energy... she’s a wildlife warrior. She was in tears for weeks. It’s very sad

I meant I was creeped out by it. I would literally kill myself than be turned on by little kids. FFS I know I'm not a parent but I do have 3 nephews and a step niece.

I don't like the "shaming" of what people are wearing and wether it is "appropriate" or not.
You didn't over react. You misunderstood me. Your reaction was appropriate for what you thought I said and meant. It's okay, people misunderstand me all the time when I try to be serious. Guess I'll stick to what I do best, being the dumb immature loveable goofball.

Some people sure do wear some weird get-ups to the Grammy Awards. I haven't seen all the pix but the ones that I have leave much to be desired.  I don't think showing your tits & ass are attractive or maybe I'm just too old to appreciate that look.   Smiley_emoticons_slash

A person called Billie Eilish (I hope I spelled that right) won a bunch of awards. I've never heard of that person. *sigh* I feel like I should know popular culture and those who are relevant. This is semi embarrassing.

She looks like she has the "Kung Flu" she sounds OK I guess but nothing spectacular, her brother is the brains there.

I Really like her stuff. She’s weird and unconventional, but (or possibly thus) a really creative and talented force.

My youngest sister took my youngest niece to see her recently in L.A. Pretty cool that they were both equally into it (judging by the video).

I like Halsey alright, but  Billie Eilish is much more interesting to me than her (or Taylor Swift or Katy Perry, etc).  Billie Eilish strikes me as a kind of female version of young Beck; someone who will cross genres and be making creative music for a very long time.

Today's date reads the same either way, forward or backward. That's called a palindrome. Now ya now.

The previous one 909 years ago. The next one will be 101 years from now.

That ^^^^^ might be my best trivial drivel ever.

I don't like seeing a kid dressed provocatively just like I don't like those kid beauty pageants. I think its parents pushing their thinking on kids that have no clue why they are getting dressed like that and they probably don't care but it's still stupid. If they have talent showcase that not their bodies.

Wildlife Warrior Crash, that one is a keeper. Those people are living modern day saints. I have been highly traumatised and angry at the loss of our precious wildlife.

Yesterday it was 65 degrees in Antarctica. That was the highest temperature ever recorded there.
