If you put your glasses rim down it means you go through life not stressing about much and you are overall happy. The thought that the glasses might stink never crossed your mind. If you had just one more day you wouldn't turn it all around. You dont give a shit if people think your glasses stink, in fact it never crossed your mind like most things that have to do with pleasing anyone. You are ok with unsanitary glass ware and dont give a shit.

If you are rim up you are more about cleanliness and wouldn't go rim down without scrubbing the cabinets with bleach. And then you still wouldn't do something so idiotic. You know in your mind that there is no sensible reason to place the cups and glasses down. But if your IQ is on the lower side, you probably place your bowls rim down too.

So if you dont put your bowls rim down, why would you put your drinkware rim down? It's illogical thinking and the sooner you realize it, the sooner you can address what I imagine is many problems..

Did you work up the personality profile yourself Sal, or is it actually something done by professionals?
I think it's probably accurate either way; just curious. I kinda wish I was a down-rimmer now; sometimes I think it would be cool not to give a such a big fuck about cleanliness and orderliness and all that jazz (especially since the other two people in my house don't give a fuck, so I spend a lot of time re-cleaning what I already did multiple times a day).

I've got everything up: bowls, dishes, glasses, mugs, whatever. I'm not going to sterilize my cabinets every fucking day.

I've eaten food dropped on the floor, I don't give a shit about cleanliness but major ick for putting glasses etc down on surfaces that are iffy. You ever eat at a restaurant with someone that put their cutlery down on the bare table? We're talking plague time here people. Do not do that.

BUT, when it comes to my home, I can't deny that I am pretty anal. I like it to look and feel neat and clean at all times. I can't fully relax with stuff out of place or dirty. Luckily, it's much easier to keep it nice at the current home than it was in my San Francisco home -- tiled floors, big open spaces, less wind and dust, etc...makes it much easier. My mom and my niece can relax just fine with clothes and trash and dirty dishes piling up, things out of place, pillows all askew (lol - that actually really bugs me). I don't bitch at them about about it or pick up their bedrooms. However, the common areas are a different story -- I'm all over the bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room and yards.

I'm a horrible slob but I have my standards. I ate dinner with someone at a restaurant that put her roll/biscuit down on the table between bites and I nearly lost my mind. The shit in my house has my germs on it but you don't know about public places.
Neat freak = nope Germophobe = fuck yeah

I used to be a germaphobe and still do shit like leave a bathroom by using the paper towel on the handle, touch public doors up high where midgets like you guys can't reach. Clean silverware with a napkin, don't drink tap beer unless I use a solo cup.
Of course take a shower and make the bed every day, I try to keep the sink clean. The housekeeper will be here today to break more shit.

I almost gag whenever I have to touch door knobs in public. Goddamn. I'm a fanatic about washing my hands. I do it immediately upon walking in door, I walk right to the sink. I keep things tidy at home, if it were cluttered around me, my mind would be the same way.

I have never really thought about the intricacies of putting away dishes until this week. Before this week or B.T.W it just didn't matter. I am now and forever a changed man.

I never thought much about it either until I went to someone's house and noticed the glasses rim down. Luckily we were only drinking beer and not mixed drinks.

My.brother John is a germaphobe. Life is stressful enough without worrying about someone else's germs.

The toilet seat ass gasket automatically gets flushed. I always use toilet paper if they don't have any but try my best not to poop in public.
