Great Idea! I just pulled out my box and should put new line on but will wait on that for a few days. No fly fishing though not until April. That's what they like now though. i will try Salmon eggs for a bit.

I don't know about magnetic paint, but chalk paint came out 30 years ago.  It wasn't created specifically for kids' rooms though.   It was created for faster and easier renovations and versatility of finishes.

I remember it well and used it on the kids room twice.

Maybe the word should not include "board" and that may be the difference.

Yeah, the link you provided pertains to making walls out of chalk-boards, not using chalk paint.

STOP.........I've used the freaking paint. You paint it on a wall and you can write with chalk on it. Give it up.

Smiley_emoticons_skeptisch   I hope you're kidding Mags.

Why you keep trying to equate chalk paint with chalk board paint is beyond me.  Totally different deal.

Chalk paint is just a certain type of paint, which is kinda chalky.  It is not the paint that you put on surfaces so kids can write with chalk on it.

Let it go, goofball.

Dude, I'm just responding to your stubborn ass.

Again, clearly not the same paint that I described.

Who cares? Use chalk paint (or not) for whatever you want, Mags.

Stick the caulk paint up your ass, Maggot. I dont even know why you'd want to argue about such a thing.

hah ..........I don't know why I even brought up the difference between the two. Yes there are 2 different kinds of stupid paint and right now I would like to paint your mouth with it. The magnetic type.

There are 2 different kinds of paint right HOTD?

There are lots and lots of different kinds of paints, Mags.

Chalk paint and chalkboard paint are two of them, and totally different.

I get that you painted your kids' rooms with chalkboard paint.  Cool.

Now, I'm done with the chalk paint conversation, and chalkboard paint too, because this thread is supposed to be where you come to share you boredom-reducing activities, not to become bored shitless.  ')
