Dont you chaps ever listen to opera or classical music?  Pop is based on that.   As an intro, try Sissel singing O mio Babbino Caro on you tube.   There are two videos, the best has over a million looks.

Even now that  brings a tear.   Give it a chance, you will get it, and you wont have heard the like before.  Its opera.

And your American, the two have never met.

I love opera! That Bugs Bunny cartoon was hilarious! Kill the Wabbit! Also Bohemian Rhapsody. Greatest Rock Opera ever!

True. My posts do tend to lean toward funny and/or gross and inappropriate.

My new and drastically upgraded love life includes a genuine deadhead who is deep into going to concerts. So far this year we saw the Who, Plant/Krauss, Dead and Company with John Mayer, Billy Strings, Max Creek (that one was at Levon Helms' Barn in Woodstock.
I am living a damn good fucking life right now, just thought I'd share. But meanwhile, even though I somehow missed the Grateful Dead train when it was a thing, I am very much learning to appreciate their deeper stuff. They really were a really good band. Go figure...
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.
