NFL 2021
#1
I sure hope this season is better than last season.

JJ Watt requested a release from the Texans and they gave it to him. I'd love to have him but we don't have any money. We do have a fuck ton of drama tho. I'm now firmly convinced that men have waaaay more drama than teenage girls.

Tom Brady is probably the greatest football player of my lifetime, maybe ever. I didn't think he was human until a couple days ago when I saw him shitfaced.

Good luck in 2021 to all of you who have a favorite team. I'll see you on the field.  59

It hasn't even been a full week since the Super Bowl and already (some) people are saying Patrick Mahomes is favored over Aaron Rodgers to be 2021 NFL MVP. C'mon!

Interesting to read the fan carnage from the Chiefs loyal after the ‘bowl. They’re all shitting themselves now that Mahome’s salary is kicking in and starting to affect their cap and they all think it’ll be a pack of nobodies running around with an overpaid QB. I’m over here wondering if they’d still be saying that if Brady hadn’t have schooled them.

No, they wouldn't. They'd be saying he is worth every fricken penny. You understand human nature better than most so you probably already knew that.

It's being reported that one of the teams interested in JJ are the Packers. I don't think he's going to remain a free agent for long. SHOW ME THE MONEY

I could't get into it this year. I'm really sick of the kneeling and the empty stands. Why put social commentary into an area that's meant to just have fun. It gets old.

Hey Duchess, the NFL has decided to hold all Superbowls in Dallas from now on to insure that no team has a home field advantage ever again.  Smiley_emoticons_biggrin

Home advantage can only exist if the team itself is already better than the other team! hah

Teams rarely get to play at their home stadium. MS' Vikings could have played in their brand spankin' new one but they couldn't get through my team so we got to play our Super Bowl there.

I probably should have done a better job of clarifying that teams rarely get to play in the Super Bowl at their home stadium. Some of you would have understood that, but some wouldn't.

Five years ago my team used five draft picks to get our QB. Eighteen months ago they gave him a $128 million contract. Today they traded him to the Colts.

Reading up on Wentz it said he developed issues the last year or so.
He not hurting for $$$$$, so he'll wait and see what develops from the trade.

It's official, Drew Brees is retiring.

I think it's awesome that his kids are old enough now that they'll always remember their dad being one of the best that played. Also, it's not like he's old, he's got a lot of life left and a fuck ton of money. Happy trails, Drew. Thanks for the memories.
