Unpopular Opinion: I don't care what rich people do with thier money and I think space travel is cool if you can do it.
Also-why is everyone mad at Bezo and Musk and thier space travels? Who gives a fuck? And why do people want to tell rich people what to do with thier money? I don't care.
I do care about if someone is not treating thier employees right or if someone creates a crappy product that doesn't work or that kills people. But space travel?
What am I missing?

How people choose to spend their own money is never anyone's business. There were A LOT of opinions about those men using their money for space travel and it made me wonder how many of them would tolerate being told how to spend their money.

I think they're mad at Bezo and Musk for spending money on space travel instead of paying their employees a decent wage/salary.

They can do whatever they want with their money. I don't begrudge them for that. Coincidentally, I have a nice batch of mushroom tea that will send you into space a lot longer than 10 minutes.

Oh really. There was a time I would have wanted to be all over that, but now that I'm old I'm afraid it would kill me.

Funny side note: I just watched a fantastic show on HULU about the 1969 Harlem Soul festival (which is amazing and you should watch btw) and it happened to coincide with the Apillo moon landing. There is a segment where the reporter is asking people about their opinions on the space mission and the responses are nearly identical to current events. So, the more things change I guess....
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

Donovan, I made this post after seeing a post on your page. It was the one about Dolly Parton, which I think she is awesome and has done amazing things.

I dig her. She just did this thing for her 75 th birthday where she had promised her husband years ago she would pose for Playboy at 75, and the magazine is gone so she got all dressed up in a Playboy Bunny outfit and did a photo shoot. At 75. That is one cool and feisty ol' broad.

I saw that! I like her too. She's guileless...which is my new favorite word, but I don't get to use it much.

She's a good kind humble person, but she looks deformed with those enormous breasts. As your child grows you have to explain that spectacle to them. It's just showbusiness.

I love what Brian May of Queen said, that it was a useless waste of money and resources. That money could have cured global poverty. I think they all looked like douchebags.
