SEASONAL EATING
#1
Do you eat differently as the seasons change? I hope that makes sense, I don't always articulate well.

Where I live, it makes sense. The summers here can be humid and brutal. Temps of between 110-120 for weeks on end, you just don’t want to eat through the day. You certainly don’t want soup or hot food. In the winter, it only gets down to the low 30s, sometimes into the 20s, so soup is great, roasted and bbq meats too.

We have a restaurant here called Season's 52 and their menu changes with the seasons, I love that place.

I eat more meals that consist only of fresh vegetables, corn, yellow squash, zucchini, tomatoes & cucumbers, etc. I hate to see it end, the stuff from the markets just isn't the same over the Winter.

When I'm alone, I'm not opposed to eating watermelon for dinner either.

There's easy eating food to suit every season: PIZZA! hah

Summer: Pizza with Pineapple, or Figs, Olives or fruits of your choice

Fall: Pizza with Ham or Bacon or meats of your choice

Winter: Pizza with Meat balls, or Sausage, or meats of your choice

Spring: Pizza with Provolone or Cheddar Cheese, or cheese of your choice

Of course.    Never rely on carbohydrates when its hot out.    They weigh you down.
