The oven's incredible heat would have broken anyone else, but I am no normal man. No, the heat merely hardens both my skin and my all-consuming thirst for revenge.
Too long it has been since I have felt the sweet release of murder. All these years, they never suspected the smiles and giggles were but a facade over the cunning and patient evil inside me. Cute on the outside does not mean cute on the inside, as the Pillsbury Corporation will soon learn. My time has come, and they will all pay.
Poke my stomach again, you fuckers. I dare you.

I have a deep & unwavering yearning...It's always there, in the back of my mind but, I rarely open the door all the way to truly think about it.

The blizzard has been snowing for a fortnight over the irradiated ashen crater that was Home. In the streets boys too young to shave trudge through the sludge, the mud and the blood of their enemies, looking for a fight.
Around the world, talking heads speak of the Storm of the Century and pretend like Home never existed.
At Home, lead armored infantry slowly drudge through the streets of hardened snow on patrol. Out of sight, the ambush party sneaks along the ash-mud caked rooftops, dying of black long desease instead of sacrificing mobility, or a pointless dispute.
Without warning, a Cancer fires a missile at the Golems. The one missile, 1.6kg, levels the building next to the unit of boys no older than sixteen. The wave of rubble crashes across the street and destroys the foundations of the Cancers' ambush point. Three dozen boys die needlessly.
Two dead Gods look at each other from across a chess board.

As I sat at my computer desk I fingered the keyboard furtively, I had one hand on my furrowed brow the other tapping away at the keys.
As I sat there in the semi-darkness of another swift ending winter day, I wondered to myself how many magic mushrooms and tabs of mescaline onbendedknee has to drop before he decides to share his random thoughts of the day with us.

As a child, people always told me that it was bad to procrastinate. They'd say that I was forming a bad habit in it, and that later in life, it would cause me much strife.
What I've learned is that sometimes it is bad to procrastinate, but more often it pays off. The benefits of procrastination are not it's own; it's effects are merely complimentary to the failings of others.
Too often people ask for things they'll realize they don't need soon. I procrastinate almost constantly and thus far this year, it's only been slightly negative once or twice.
Leave it to the miserable limey to dump on a light-hearted, silly and funny thread.
OBK, you're one weird SOB, you know that? I like that in a person. ::lmao:: ::thumbs::

On the way to work this morning, the freeway onramp was backed up almost onto the connecting freeway with about a 10 minute wait to get through due to the metering lights. After about 7 minutes as I was nearing my turn to go, an SUV flew down the right shoulder around everyone to take off with the next bunch.
At first I was upset. Who was this asshole who thinks he's so much more important to the rest of us? Doesn't he realize that his attempts to circumvent traffic contribute to more congestion and increase risk to himself and others? Does he really think that the rest of us are just waiting because we haven't noticed that we could do the same thing?
Then I got a little nudge from sanity and noticed a different perspective:
Out of the 50 or so cars waiting to get on the freeway, there was only one asshole taking advantage of the shoulder. That meant there were 49 decent people there. Then I thought about my normal traffic rants on the way to work and realized the same held true.
The world isn't so bad since the assholes are still in the minority. Lets just hope they don't realize it and start lobbying for special protections.

I'd like to apologize to the creator of Mock, posters and readers of this thread.
The quality of my posts or lack thereof is truly unforgivable. While the harm I've done with these few posts here and in other threads can never be undone, it is nothing compared to the harm that could have been done if I posted everything that came to mind. Just to give you an idea of the misery I've spared you, here is a list of some of the thread titles I did not post over the past few weeks:
Alan Turing/Liberace-The Intimate Relationship of Math and Music
Tori Spelling's Overclocking Tips for the 486SX
The Sims:Venereal Disease Demo Released Today!!!!
How do you put out a pillowcase fire? (Follow up to my "Why can't you use alcohol for dousing?" thread)
Help me test out this jpg-based virus (Warning: Modem User Unfriendly)
Mock Investors: Just bought 100 shares of WorldCom stock for $60/share, What do you think?

I don't commute to work but, if I did, I feel certain I would go insane within the first 3 days.
The candle I have burning has filled the room with the scent of sandalwood.
I'm going to string twinkle lights in the pergola & in the trees around the pool.
I don't celebrate Valentines Day, I think it is a ridiculous holiday, why in hell would someone choose one day a year to say & do things they should be doing all year long.
I'm sure that I have a few thousand random thoughts throughout my day.

On my way to work without the tools (read: toys) of my trade and craft.
Sure, I had my off-duty Glock, but the Department strongly discourages us from shooting out the tires of those who have committed an infraction.
Damn those policies and procedures!
Pesky damn policies and rules. ::irk::
