I heard it from Q-anon.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

Just in.
Criminal charges against Alec Baldwin are expected to be dropped over the October 2021 fatal shooting of "Rust" cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, the actor's lawyers told Fox News Digital. "We are pleased with the decision to dismiss the case against Alec Baldwin and encourage a proper investigation into the facts and circumstances of this tragic incident," attorneys Luke Nikas and Alex Spiro said in a statement. Duchess called it!

I think it was late last Fall when I read that the dead woman's husband had settled with Alec and part of that settlement was that he be allowed to join the film they had been shooting when she was killed. Filming has now resumed. Alec was the only one who had his charges dropped, the armorer still faces her charges and that's as it should be, she had one goddamn job to do and she failed on an epic scale.

If she spent as much time on established safety protocols as picking pronouns and hair color that woman would still be alive.

I blame the gun.
Have you ever seen a "Mafia" movie . . . set in the US . . . with gangsters using Italian firearms? Stick with pasta and high-end performance cars . . . not tools for killing Americans of Russian persuasion.

Baldwin's failure was just as spectacular because he knew exactly how it was supposed to be done, and said or did nothing. He's the boss and is just as culpable as the armorer; more so, in fact, because said armorer had instructed him in all the safety protocols, which he failed to comply with. If she'd failed to give him those instructions it would be entirely on her, but that wasn't the case. Bottom line: the armorer wasn't on set, and nothing was supposed to happen without her there. Baldwin knew that, as did the person that handed the gun to him.

Who handed the firearm to Baldwin? Asking for a friend. |
