Gene editing to select color of a baby's hair, eyes, skin, gender, while deleting medical flaws, can be tantamount to be creating "Designer Babies".
Some say it is like "playing God".
Others say they can have a healthy boy and a girl, and don't leave it up to chance.
So what say you, is Human Gene Editing GOOD or BAD?

Is it available to everyone for free?
BTW - You can't choose gender.
It's a choice . . . not science.

I don't agree with it.

It is quite likely that parents will be able to use genetic engineering to select the sex of their child by directly manipulating the sex of an embryo. Some might think that this method would be a more ethical method of sex selection than present technologies such as preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) because, unlike PGD, it does not need to create and destroy “wrong gendered” embryos.
(Being able to select gender of a baby would be a boon to parents of 6 boys, who want a girl, or have 6 girls, who want a boy)

Sex and gender aren't the same thing. Being able to choose sex would have no bearing on gender dysphoria.

I'd prefer to have them the old fashioned way, but whatever rings your bell I guess.

I think it's wrong & asking for trouble when people try to fuck around with Mother Nature.
I wouldn't clone any of my beloved dead pets either.
That's just my opinion, it's not for me, but there's people who would probably jump at the chance to do so.
