Well it had to happen,

Air Canada in the race for airlines to cut emissions has ordered 30 “Electric Planes”!
The plane can fly up to 124 miles in all- Electric mode, and up to 500 miles with
capacity limitations.

Swedish manufacturer Heart Aerospace received the Air Canada order. Delivery 2028.

Once this concept is (if) accepted, and eventually the travel distance is increased it may
become the future of aviation. As other manufacturers will get involved adding their
own ramifications.

Likely become the future of aviation. Time will tell.

124 miles isn't really a huge distance.    I wonder how long a recharge takes.

They ordered 30 planes.

It’s got to start somewhere, over time that distance certainly will increase.

Especially when other manufacturers get involved.

That will be their selling point, theirs goes 500 miles in Electric mode!

It’s not until 2028, by then there will be so many migrants here they can fly them to wherever
using the Electric planes.  hah

Saw in the insider news today, where Tesla owner says he was locked out of his electric car after

the battery died.

An issue he said would cost over “$21,000” to fix!  Holy crapola!

It was said new electric batteries cost between $20,000 to $30,000! How much is a gallon of gas again! hah

I rented a a car once that turned out to a hybrid. I was curious as to how would like it. I didn’t.

I didn’t like how it shut down when stopped at traffic lights. And then it was so quite when running

I didn’t like that either, I like the engine sound.

Saw on TV info channel today where overcharging a “electric scooter battery” can explode and it
erupts into a huge fire ball! If indoors, fire breaks out starting fire on furniture, rugs, walls.

Well I’m in the market for a newer car, not brand new anymore too much depreciation the first few years.

I was very surprised to see so many used Tesla’s for sale!

Guess the batteries must have been giving problems.

Or a giant PIA having to wait for charging at the charging station!
