More like the manufacturing sector was killed off, starting right after WWII. And American agriculture was destroyed by corporate farming. All cheap labor does is maintain the illusion that we have a sustainable economy, which we don't.

Your wrong Sally, British people are as lazy as it gets. You paying a thousand dollars as a christmes bonus in amazing, i would be yours for life, the Rothschild response is typical though.
I have worked in the private sector and the NHS, the national health service, the public sector is a disgrace. Employing anyone is pot luck. CVS are a waste of time, you need a personality test like Myers Briggs, some work hard because its in their nature, the opposite is also true.
