A possible break in the case and a hmmmm…
MPD asking for help in id’ing and talking to occupants of a white Hyundai Elantra with model year between 2011-2013 in the immediate vicinity of the King Rd residence in the early morning hours of

13 ( when murder occurred)

17 a welfare check was requested for a man that didn’t show up to work all week, starting Monday - the day after the murders. Gonna keep digging in on this … but would love to know what kind of car he drives.

Last night 5 plainclothes investigators were in the rental house where kids murdered for about an hour, left shielding faces from camera.
Marshalls? FBI? State? Looked like Badasses imo.
Things feel like they are heating up.
I actually think MPD has done well for size of force and publicity- engaged state and FBI almost immediately- minimized any leaks. Tried to prevent mob gang up on individuals that they don’t believe involved. This has got to be so complex with so many victims, then survivors, 911 callers and a known party house with a lot of people in/out of house commonly.

So much speculation stated as fact and misinformation and trolls and personal attacks/threats to likely innocent people happening on most social media.
Discussion/debate is fine/good and coming up with various hypotheses but hate the witch hunt with no evidence some do.
Glad that Mock doesn’t do that.
The latest MPD press release warned that online threats/harassment is a crime and they will pursue charges as necessary. Good!

A clerk that works overnight at gas station in Moscow, ID started going through video footage at store in her downtime and spotted white sedan like the one police asking for tips on driving past gas station at 3:45 am night of murders. She submitted it through tip line.
Moscow PD just showed up at gas station to get the video evidence.
Have also read a lot of search warrants have been issued.
The investigation is closing in.

The Goncalves family is in the news again - releasing information they probably weren’t told - and now trying to distance themselves from it.
Their actions are maybe the most counterproductive expression of grief I’ve ever seen.

Current chatter/happenings:
A 4chan poster detailed scenario involving SigmaChi members ( personal details) as murderers - it’s interesting ( and terrifying) but 4chan is historically completely unreliable
A neighbor/chef who goes by Chef Dizzy has now entered the picture giving interviews- saying now he heard scream possibly although found social media posts from him right after murder saying he didn’t hear/see anything. In general, dude is kinda odd and doesn’t feel reliable
The Coroner may be contributing to issues between Vic families and LE - I wish she would stop interviews and contact with families without getting on same page as LE
The white Hyundai Elantra must be significant- nobody has voluntarily come forward to get cleared of being near house at time of murder. A mountain of data for LE to get through to ID this - complicated by out of state registrations since college town - and WA border less than 10 minutes from Moscow.

No official answer on it. Some social media reports he’s still unaccounted for and also coincidentally drives a white car similar to one police are looking for.
But none of that is confirmed by any reliable source.
Semi-reliable I would say though because can trace comments back to his previous coworkers.
If it’s true then either he has the most unlucky of coincidences or…….

For sure.
Xana and Maddie worked at a restaurant in town.
Kaylee worked at another place in town before her internship.
But something feels off with the fraternity too.
LE press releases keep stressing they want details of events at that frat house while Xana and Ethan were there, including”abnormal events”, travel, etc. The frat hosted a sports theme party that night with “sober brothers” making sure everything would go smooth. If E. - their murdered frat bro - and his gf were there and it’s the last place they were seen alive, why aren’t they doing all they can to give this info to police. Or if the frat is talking to police, why does LE think they don’t have full story.

It seems to me that someone would have to be infuriated to stab to death 4 people. I've read it takes strength to stab people and that anyone can make puncture wounds, but stabbing to death requires force.

Steve G ( Kaylee’s dad) confirmed it’s the girls on this video before food truck. He seemed to think it was innocuous convo - “girls being girls” - and referred to “Adam” as their bartender who he didn’t have concerns of their involvement. Also said store owner had provided this to LE some time ago and also gave to family several weeks back.
Also seemed to align with LE on the white Hyundai being key. Even went so far as saying he supports local LE now! Quite a change - but a positive one for sure.
Kaylee’s brother is going to school there, too.
Heartbreaking when SG says they probably won’t celebrate Xmas this year - too hard.
