I was just gardening today. Digging holes, weeding, moving a water feature. Hard work. Feels good though.

Sometimes I wish that smoking pot or making brownies like in Alice B. Toklas was legal. I would like to go to Amsterdam to try that legally, but when you come back in Australia they have very strict sensors that would go off if you had it in your system. Or have had it.

You have to go to the doctor here even if you want panadeine now. You used to be able to get it over the counter but the druggies abused it, so they have made it prescription only.

Pot is legal in NY state.  if you are 21 or over. Still illegal on the Federal level.

Recreational weed is finally legal here, but I won't be able to go to a dispensary until this Fall, not just me, but every pothead in my state. We have to wait for them to be opened. I'm pretty fuckin' excited about that. Medical weed has been available here for years and that's how I used to be able to get a lot of my weed, not because I was sick, but because I knew someone who was.

I used to get my weed the same way. First through my bipolar brother and then through a friend who was taking it for his back problems.
