I opened a credit card for the first time during the pandemic. I don't have a lot of debt, but it is more than I am comfortable with.

I'm ok with my debt. My mom and dad  had lots of debt and they still lived a good decent mostly worry free life. Same with me. I have a credit/debit bank card and a Firestone auto credit card and that's it.  I pay the minimum balance due every month. I think the only real debt I have is the $1600 I owe to this bank handling my dental insurance payments that is in collection.

Having debt is amazing if it's real estate, if your willing to move every Two years or so it can be the pathway to real wealth as one of the only ways to avoid taxes legally, taxes are for the poor.

If it weren't for the poor there wouldn't be any rich people.

I’m okay with mortgage or other debt depending on the interest rate. I definitely don’t think people need “wealth” to live happy, fulfilled lives. I think most people just need to plan for their retirement or old age. As long as u have enough money or insurance or help or whatever it is you need to be content if you stop working (either because u want to or physically can’t do it anymore) then I think ur in a good position. Ideally u leave this world with a zero balance (not leaving debt to ur heirs but not necessarily leaving them money either). That’s a win.

You & Mrs. Biggie are very fortunate to have had her for so long.

I didn't realize that dorky expression was at the bottom of my post. I would have thought twice about posting it if I had.

A friend of mine has her cat "23" years and counting! I never heard of one that old before.
