I think she chased away OBK when she called him coy boy. Oh dear.
OBK, if you're reading this, it's important to face a bully when one encounters one. You have to set a good example for the other kids.

He’s probably on a quest to find his own opinions.

I read it Mark. I don’t know anything about coin accounts so is there a way to recover it or is he just screwed?

Oh FFS, question from the scary, class idiot…I assume we’re talking BITCOIN or the like and not a bunch of coin collectors…right?
I know very little about Bitcoin except I opened an account at Coin Mama or Coin Base or some damn place and made a few illicit online purchases with it around 2018-19 (+/-). I didn’t use all my coin but as Bitcoin went up in value, I started looking for it early last year. I can’t find it so fuck that shit.
I can’t imagine having an account hacked and used at some coin collector’s site so my GREAT analytical skills lead me to believe we’re talking about online coins.

I'm talking about a bunch of coin collectors, but the others may be talking about something different. I only know about the coin stuff because of Maggot, I think he's a member as well.

Trying to get my head around it. So I’m in a group of coin collectors and someone hacks my account and promises to sell other members some rare coin/coins and then somehow not only collects their money (in hacked account) and then runs with it?
Absent or until further investigation/information OBK sounds guilty, lol.

To make it even harder to get your head around it--I'm not even certain if the coin collecting forum I am referring to is what Mark was referencing when he made that cryptic post.

That bastard RC knows something.
I know where my semi valuable physical coins are. My mom started collecting silver coins as a young woman and my dad’s parents owned a pretty big grocery store. So she accumulated a lot! I have at least almost a gallon ziplock bag full of silver coins (dollars and 1⁄2 dollars on down). Some very old (definitely early 1900’s). But they were never kept in pristine condition(s) so I get the sense that their value is more the weight of silver than the coin(s) themselves.
I’ve also got a few Navajo rugs that are probably getting moth eaten in plastic in my garage. I got rough appraisals for them during COVID and one might be worth upwards of $5k (or was). The others were between $100-$1,000 or so. But…it nags me (the waste) but I don’t really want to deal with this stuff.
Also, we ended up with my cousin’s HUGE baseball card collection (and he kept them all in plastic/books). For a few days my husband googled some of the individual cards and some came up as worth $100 +/- and then he lost interest.
I need to find someone (or an entity) I can trust to sell off a bunch of crap on commission.

It's all good. I've been catching up on older threads and reading some of the newer ones.
Coy Boy? We've all been called much, much worse.
