What type of cell phone does everyone use and why?

I have a BlackBerry...I need to stay connected while I'm out of my office and it's much easier to throw it in my handbag rather than taking my laptop everywhere...I have had a few moments tho of thinking it is nothing more than an electronic leash, I only like having it on my terms, I often don't care to be reached ²⁴⁄₇ but..............

Yes, that's right...I went with one of the ones you suggested & I'm very happy with it.

very cool. I have actually switched phones, again, lol. not because I had any issues at all with the Curve. I still think that is the best Blackberry and I had it forever, but I went with a much more complex windows mobile phone for work reasons.

I think we should have a thread dedicated to electronics/tech bs...I always have questions...I know I can find out anything I need to know online & I have a subscription to Consumers Reports, they have helped me buy everything from my new camera to our home theater system but, I always prefer to hear what a real person, someone I "know" has to say...You have noticed, I'm sure, that I come to you with a lot of tech related questions.

I am not certian yet! I have been looking up reviews on the Voyager and the env2. I think I am over the smartphone phase. it costs an arm and a leg to have to pay for the use of all the features.

I have the most basic, frill-less, no-gadgets Nokia they make. I got this one because I ignore most calls, make very few and text message occasionally. And the fact that it was $25 out the door and came with a $50 mail in rebate sold me, too. I hate being on the phone and wish I didn't have to have one at all.

why? because it is missing the extra row of keys to give it a full keyboard. you should get the Blackberry Curve if you are staying with a blackberry!
