All cap newbies

Why is it that people new to the internet sometimes type in all caps? I mean their whole message. When I was new to the net, I didn't do that because it was unnatural to write that way or use a typewriter in that way. Where the fuck do they get this "all cap" standard from, and why the hell are they so comfortable with it? Is it mostly older people or what?

Dunno, but I hate that shit. All cap titles to threads make me crazy and all cap posts are worse. It's like they're fucking yelling ALL THE TIME. I'd like to go bitch-slap anyone who does this.

It's like, if they post the thread title in all caps, they're saying; "HEY! IF I SCREAM AT YOU WILL YOU COME READ MY STUPID, INANE, POINTLESSTHREAD THAT IS PROBABLY A COPY/PASTE EMAIL?????" I wanna hit someone.

I hear you ... I was really referring to those I've seen on other sites that post entire messages that way, and email, too. I am referring to people I know don't have some sort of medical condition, either.

I just got an email exactly like the one I was referring to above, from an Aunt. What the fuck, did she just learn to type and write or something? What the fuck is it about the internet that would make someone type in all caps when they don't write that way and don't use a word processor that way? ::dunno::
