Alternative Financial Bailout Plan
#1
This was sent to me and I can't say I do not disagree. Seems to make sense to me.

I'm against the $85,000,000,000.00 bailout of AIG.

Instead, I'm in favor of giving $85,000,000,000 to America in a

That does make more sense. And I'd be happy with a measly $50,000.

You can see the entire blog post at http://www.politicaldisgust.com/?p=538

(Please note that the math above is incorrect and 85 billion divided by 200 million is really only $425. But that was the entire point if you see the actual blog post)

I believe the math is wrong.

Quote:So divide 200 million adults 18+ into $85 billon that equals $425,000.00.

When I divide 85 billion by 200 million I get 425, not 425,000.

If I were to spend all of my money because of poor money management skills who the hell is gonna bail me out ?...Huh ?...Is anyone going to think I'm deserving offinancial help?

I didn't read the paperwork behind this particular bailout but, I did print out & read the bill that didn't pass yesterday...It is 106 freakin' pages long...I've heard it said that the champagne drinkers want the beer drinkers to help them out of this mess...And who am I supposed to believe at the end of the day ?...I have faith in no one in Washington anymore.

The systemic corruption of the two major parties is one reason I am not voting for them this year! Libertarian for me.

I hope I did not just read that you are NOT voting this year???? Regardless of the situation you have to vote. If you dont then you are not part of the process, right or wrong. Maybe this is for another thread, but I would be SHOCKED if you did not vote MF. There is nothing worse then not voting at all.

Bob Barr is the Presidential candidate for the Libertarian Party. I believe he will be receiving my family's votes. Here is what he had to say on the current bailout action on CNN:

Here he is with Lou Dobbs about a variety of things, from bailouts to protecting our borders:
