Yes, I spent 6 bucks on that sauce. I would not recommend that sauce to anyone unless they like their steak covered in sugar.

Sally, i bought a case of that sauce based on Frank's recommendation. i also thought it was a bit too sweet. i think Frank owns stock in the restaurant.
the sauce did grow on me. but i really prefer au poivre.

It's base is extra ripe tomatoes for sweetness. If we were single I'd come over there right now and cover you in that sauce. I'd change your mind real quick about it.

I felt bad about that sauce thing ... you trusted me and I failed you. All I can say is that I love it and many others do, which is why this sauce made by a small chain of two restaurants here in NY is on store shelves outside of NY.

I am sorry I failed you as a friend and Italian. This is a food thing so failing as an Italian in your eyes actually upsets me more than the friend thing.
