Frank, it's your site and you do not need to remain neutral.
If they are posting in OPEN forums that means those forums are YOURS by default. member owned forums are a different story.
It's your house. Your rules and you decide who's a bad guest.
You've got a hadful of assholes that drove out a lot of good members.
You can make the site like I once suggested - ALL member owned forums.
They make rules and manage their own.
They can get rid of whomever they want or let them in as they see fit.
Upgrade the software and you can ban one person from any particular forum and not the whole site.
I would have banned Saint long ago along with a few other trouble makers. If my inbox is full of whining and one name keeps popping up time and again, that person goes. Permanently.

I disagree - I think it is vital I remain neutral and professional in that way. But I do agree, in hindsight, that I should have been even stricter with certain people. You didn't have to recommend all member own forums, that has been the concept from a long time ago. I let some house forums stay because there was a need for certain forums that were not being covered. I would like to switch software sometime.
