So, let me get this straight.... Part 1

You are just pissed off that she has made the facade of the laid back Italian dude drop to reveal the true face of the ungrateful, nasty, snotty, judgemental, back stabbing cunt you really are.

NO, I am just reacting like someone who provided a site for free to everyone, her included, utilizing 18 months of my time, energy, and resources ... just to have a fucking favor offer turn into an attack by a back-stabbing bitch trying to humiliate and criticize real life shit on a Mock forum. Ant, you, and Lumpy can fuck off.

I'd rather tweeze my nosehairs then read all these posts but FFS, the whole thing just sounds like a giant rat fuck misunderstanding and I wish the parties involved would just agree to disagree and move on. Otherwise, I'm going to post a thread suggesting we rename the forum to BICKERING BITCHES or some such shit.

When someone does you a favor and you start to see that it's more complicated and taking more time than expected then common courtesy would be to say '"hey, I don't expect you to do all this for free, what are the incidentals and what do you think would be fair". You make sure you get a straight answer out of them so you can avoid this kind of situation. Did you do that?

Yeah that. Maybe we can change it to " I'm the rubber, you're the glue, everything you say bounces off me and sticks to you."

Sheesh.

True but playing devil's advocate, that assumes that Frank knew that it was more complicated and taking more time than expected. Plus, if you're doing someone a favor and it starts to spin out of control, its completely reasonable to be forthright and tell the person that its taking more time than you anticipated and set some boundaries (i.e., charge for the time or stretch the favor out so it fits within your timeframe or whatever).

I don't think Frank was out to screw Ant. Like I said before, it sounds like a misunderstanding/failure to communicate.

I don't really care. I just want them to make-up. All this negative energy is draining my chi. ::lol::

I hear where you are coming from but there was no context for that type of inquiry at the time. There was no delay that I was aware of that cost her money. We were just both meeting up at later times to deal with the wait of my domain transfer, something she needed from D, etc. In fact at one point I said something to the effect of how I feel bad it is taking more than one day due to the wait ... she said no problem at all. We have been through similar scenarios together in the past so I didn't think anything of it. It wasn't until after the site was all transferred and a month later (or whatever it was recently) that she decided to "expose" me publicly as she was getting angry with me for attacking Lumpy so much. Drama queen control-freak "take things out on Frank" mode I felt. The trust factor on this back-stabbing bitch trying to humiliate me after offering me a simple site conversion favor just boiled over.

To call the tweaks and inquiries that followed some form of request for weeks of custom code work is absurd. Just like it would be absurd for me to ask her to pay for changes I've had coders do to features I've produced, where she found bugs or had complained about them for her sites. at one point I was spending a lot of money having mods (plug ins) developed that I let her offer and install through her site that offered such services, since she was as friend.

She has obviously gone into hate Frank and exaggerate mode. Weeks of custom work for some tweaks? They could make up anything ... thousands of dollars worth. I've paid coders $100 for a new major feature. I've paid coders $40, $60, ect. for entire new plug ins. I have a hard time believing that I even came close to asking for work to be done just for my site that even approached her cost for one new plug in. But I will stay open for kicks.

OK Ant, here we go. How much money did you pay D just for shit I wanted? Please list what I asked for that could reasonably be taken as a request for custom code work versus a little fucking tweak or question. Go ahead. Provide the link to my request if possible and the money it cost you.

I want to see what you were charged for by D for what I presume are my comments in some thread where I expressed that something looked wrong. I assume if it was just for me you would have said hey, it is going to cost this much for that change or something, but you didn't. So please go ahead and list the costs for whatever the fuck it is.

I assume the conversion was of no cost and the theme work, or are we going to go back in time and charge each other for time and favors with help? I can't imagine that. So it comes down to what D charged you for some tweaks you made just for my site - tweaks on things you are not using for distribution or sale, but were coding work just for my site, correct? I fucking hope so.

Since you've made everything public, please list the work done so we can see if approaching this from Sally's perspective even works. I don't trust you any longer due to your lack of communication, overly critical nature, and lack of ability to take this shit up with me privately ... and now you blame me for losing clients to boot ... but I will give it a last shot.

List specific dollar amounts, please.

This will definitely go under the "Too little, too late" advice column, but I always get EVERYTHING in writing. I drive my husband crazy with it because I will not do anything without an agreement. Not because I am worried about getting screwed, but because of mis-understandings. I especially do it with friends and family.

We had someone store something at our house. I had a contract for it.
We had a friend give us a short term loan. We had a contract for it.
etc etc.

If it is in writing and spelled out it eliminates the whole "What I meant was"...........

So you are saying that you've done Ant favors in the past that resulted in your own out of pocket expense? You were not even aware of the extra time and money Ant spent while returning the favor untill she blew up on the forum like a crazy, hormonal, overreacting bitch? If thats the case then I don't know what to tell you, people are going to continue to hate you no matter what 11:: ::lol::

I didn't quite say that. I said what I said, cutie-buns. I am trying to take your advice.

I want to see what I asked to have done that made someone think I wanted significant custom coding for my site, and then how much Ant was charged for it. That is a reasonable first step to figuring out what her fucking expenses were in this grueling favor I'm so glad I took her up on.

Oh fuck that. She has already made everything public and I find her guilty of exaggeration and a lack of trustworthiness so she can post that shit right here so everyone can see what I said in the dreaded complaint thread that means I sanctioned, asked for, or wanted, significant custom coding work. I want to see how a friend converting my site with some tweaks and fixes resulted in three weeks of custom code work. In my experience that's enough code work to create a half dozen new meaningful features for fuck's sake. If she is going to go around and be an unprofessional back-stabbing drama bitch accusing me of being cheap, she can demonstrate exactly what I posted out of the ordinary during a friend-help tweak process that called for custom coding I should have known was just for my site and costing money ... and how much for that specific item.

If she can't produce that list with links or quotes to what I said I call Miserable Hag BackStabbing Drama Fuck who is trying to blame me for shit I am not responsible for - including a loss of clients. I do NOT think it is coincidence that she "exploded" on me in the middle of an argument about attacking Lumpy and me telling her to stop complaining. She lost it. She is taking it out one me. And that is my story until I see differently.

I remember back in grade school. ::lol:: There was a kid there named Ernie Preve and we would every day bring up that his shoe was untied or he had hair in his nose or anything that we knew would piss him off. The reason was because we could and pressing his button was easy. Everyday we would fuck with him. And he just never got it. All he had to do was just STFU and laugh and we would have found another sucker. It was funny as all hell because he could never ever say or do anything and we would be right on him disagreeing with anything he said, even if we knew he was right. Some shit givers and shit takers sometimes never get it. Thats what makes Mock funny to me, people take this shit so serious that it reminds me of Ernie and his nose hairs. And pulling the chair out as they sit down with imaginary snot running down their face.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.
