My non-existent hat is off to him if it's true. Actually......someone making around $350,000 would end up in that bracket. Remember, when you go past $200K the rates go up sharply. Now face it, he prob doesn't make even THAT much.

I don't know what you are talking about here because if you pull in 3 million your standard tax bill will be much higher - like almost half depending upon which State you are in.
You can easily pay 70K in taxes after pulling in 180-200k, depending upon your State tax and filing status.
On a sidenote, that is why it is ridiculous to call people making 200K rich, when they are supporting multiple kids in areas with good school systems, resulting in 10K+ in property taxes alone.

Add an 8% State tax, and other taxes if you wish (Social Security, City tax, like NYC does, etc.) and you get near 70K while not making over 200K if you look at the lower tax bracket category (married filing separately for example):

8% tax on 180K = 14.4K, so add that on for some States alone.

200,000 per year does not make a person rich I think Fed taxes alone in that bracket comes to 38-40% next year it will be 46% The year after that who knows. It's only money.....right?::lmao::

If, and that's a big IF, the pigfucker paid 70K in taxes like he claims it's only because he sold a business and/or yanked what he had in his IRA in order to play the horses. Now his wife may have made a good living but the pigfucker is too ignorant a 'business person' to make that kind of money as a computer geek and trying to keep a washed-up construction 'business afloat.
As has been noted, this prick has an inferiority complex so he must lie in order to feel better about himself... and lie he does...wanna bet the asshole is 5'6" in elevators? ::stir::

I never said or implied thatI thought $200K made a person rich, although that IS a comfortable income... what I'm poopooing is Frank's claim that a person making that much would pay $70K in taxes.
And actually, the point of this is that Mill is a lying asshole that's probably in debt up to his eyeballs and has no room to brag about anything.

One can have a million bucks and still not be rich, you would be comfortable, that's all it could be considered...And then there is the "rich" on paper but, bank account poor.
The moment that motherfucker said he paid more in taxes than you made in a year I knew he was a lying cocksucker.

You can pay 70K in taxes if you make 200K. You just are not adding up all the taxes or something. In New York, you can pay up to and around 40% total. Do the math. Fed + State + City + SS ... 40% of 200K = 80K in taxes.
How about 35%? 35% of 200K = 70K. Are you doubting someone can pay 35% total in taxes? Wake up.
