Apply for your Social Security Disability benefits NOW. You'll get your precious govt. health benefits, it's called Medicaid.

If you don't qualify for SSD you will automatically be be switched to apply for Supplemental Security Income - SSI - which gives you that precious govt. medical plan Medicaid too.

You can apply on line. It will take you nearly a year to get it complete. I dont' think they can stop treating you if you're on O2. You're going to need to dedicate lots of your time to applying and stay on top of it to get it done.
