Would you live in a trailer park?
Hopefully your storm shelter is in a school at least you would be able to say you were in one once.

I have a friend who just moved down near Nashville a few months ago. This is their first serious weather emergency. Luckily, they just got the bad wind, rain and hail. But she was definately in a state..with the sirens, warnings, and fretting that they were not closing the schools. I am glad they are well and safe.
Here we are just getting some serious wind. 50-60MPH from what I have heard. We were out today and it was an adventure.

Agreed. I think I would rather be facing a hurricane than a tornado...at least you have a few days warning to get out and to a safe place. You usually only have minutes with a tornado...if you're lucky.

aw. an angel was on her shoulder, but her family perished in the tornadoes. :(
her parents who were killed
The two-year-old found alive in a field ten miles from her home is Angel Babcock.
Angel was found near the bodies of her mother and siblings, Washington County Sheriff Claude Combs told ABC News.
She was found by rescuers forty miles west of Chelsea, in Salem, Indiana, and was taken to hospital where she is in critical condition.
incredible photos here:

I got a brand new storm shelter in my backyard. So...WTF would I need to go to the school? Sorry you have to resort to those measures. Pretty sad.

Can you elaborate on that a little? How was it constructed?

It was fully made of metal with metal doors that open on the top. The guys just drilled through the rock (which added greatly to my bill) in my yard (hates it) and dug the dirt out. Then they just lower it into the hole and its flat to the grown. The doors latch and lock closed. I made it look cute in the yard though. I put some big rocks about 2 feet out from the shelter and put wood chips in the middle. If my computer was available I would glady find a picture of one.

Did the dumbass just say she put big rocks by her shelter so they can be blown on the top and lock her in there? Because it sounds more like a Nazi death trap.

Resort to what measures? we don't get tornados here.
You're laughable and pathetic, please post a picture of yourself in your storm shelter so I don't think you're full of shit.

How fucking hard is it to post a photo?
If it helps set up a mirror and just take a picture of the reflection.

Crazy the way everything rolls. I've only experienced one & that was on the East Coast.
