I didn't grow up with weather like this. I'm from the North Country where the land is carved from glaciers and your growing season lasts a nano second. I'd never felt weather like this before I came here. The heat is lovely, the humidity sucks ass.

Then I turn on my 2 box fans on high and say "Fuck you A/C! I don't need my apartment as cold as a meat locker! Look at all the money I'm saving on electricity!"

It's too hot to do any damn thing. Even my horse/s are content to just stand under the mister grazing in a circle so he doesn't leave the spray. Lordy, it's only mid-July.

The humidity kills me. I just mowed the lawn and it needed it. Because of the rain I never got a chance to do it last week. Weed wacking tomorrow. I also need to do a dump run with all this brush.

Daily weather report will now include an air quality report.
Air quality 67 (Moderate) but it isn't comfortable to be outside today at all. Temperature is 99 with a high expected of 106, it was 107 yesterday, but it doesn't even feel that hot anymore. It is supposed to cool down tomorrow, but the air quality will be worse.

Thank you for this gorgeous day, I'd like more, much more, of the same, please. If I have to have 4 more months of tornado warnings I would just as soon go straight to 28 degrees for the remainder of the year. Thank you! Your friend, Duchess
