Yeah, sidelined with a concussion.

Did you watch the Islanders yesterday? Did you see the fight at the end?

Almost all those guys on the ice are missing their front teeth.

I saw NYI take the lead in the 3rd but didn't see the end.

I'm pulling for NY. They've got a handful of MN kids on their team.

Hockey is such a great sport. It's still my favorite to watch in person.

I used to be as into hockey as I am football but I'm not around it here like I was back home so my interest has waned a great deal.

American Pharoah won the Preakness and has the second jewel in his race for the triple crown. Yabba Dabba Do. It's pouring in Baltimore and the track is sloppy. It looked like he won easily, he pulled right away from the pack and down the stretch he went. It's like watching the ballet. They are all so beautiful and graceful. Perfect athletes.

Pharoah is great when he gets the hole shot. Doesn't let the other horses pass him, but mid pack he gives up.

In case you missed it, CHI-CA-GO swept my club 4-0 a couple weeks back, and then outlasted Anaheim tonight 5-3 in Game 7 of the Western Conference Final.

They will face the Tampa Bay Lightning for the Stanley Cup championship beginning Wednesday.

As much as I despise the Hawks, they are fun to watch. Should be a great series.

Tampa advanced to the Finals by dispatching the Detroit Red Wings, Montreal Canadiens and New York Rangers. Those 3 are all Original 6 NHL clubs.

Yep, you guessed it. The Blackhawks are also an Original 6 team.

No Stanley Cup champ has ever beaten 4 Original 6 teams to claim the title.

The 2015 Tampa Bay Lightning????

I want to remind you not to mention my guys this year. Not one word, MS. Talk about boobs & cul-de-sac sex all you want but not that team out of Philly.

After 37 years American Pharoah is a triple crown winner. This horse is a thing of beauty to watch. He wins effortlessly. He knew walking out to the track that it was a special day, head held high & prancing, it's so much fun to be on their back when they prance sideways. I always think my horse understands my laughter when he does that.

I look at this picture and I can hear the clang of the gates opening and the roar of the crowd. It's a very exciting time.

The U.S. has reclaimed the Women's World Cup after smashing Japan 5-2 in the final.

It comes four years after their crushing defeat in July 2011, when Japan clinched the title in a penalty shoot-out.

Tonight the U.S. squad came back with a vengeance to become the first team to win the title three times.

Hope Solo was awarded the Golden Glove as top goalkeeper and captain Carli Lloyd, who scored an astonishing 50-yard goal, takes home the Golden Ball.

Hopefully Julie Johnston isn't the only World Champion in her household come February.

She's a good player (and cute).

I knew she was married to an NFL player.

Guessing he's with Philly.

I think they're just dating, but yes, Zach Ertz, TE out of Stanford.

Ooohhhhh. I shouldn't be thinking what I'm thinking now. I never let my head go there.

Serena Williams won her sixth Wimbledon title today.

The victory marks top-seeded Williams' first Wimbledon title since 2012 and her 21st Grand Slam championship overall. The win also moved Williams closer to the calendar Grand Slam, which she could complete with a U.S. open title in September.

Serena is such a badass. She's 33-years-old and playing better than ever. In interviews, she says she doesn't need any more titles so the pressure is off and she's having all kinds of fun. She now holds 21 major titles. The other active women's competitors hold a total of 21 between them.

Serena defeated No. 20 ^ Garbine Muguruza from Spain 6-4, 6-4 to earn the Wimbledon women's singles plate today.

She really is unbelievable.

I'd love to see Serena able to Martina (in her prime).

That's be good.

That would be a good match.

I'm bummed that Serena didn't capture the Grand Slam this year. She beat Venus in the quarter finals, but just saw that she got bumped from the U.S. Open finals by unseeded 33-year-old Italian Roberta Vinci yesterday (pictured with Serena below); 2-6, 6-4, 6-4.

Still a great year for Serena, but gotta be a major blow not to take it all at this point in her career.

I sorta admire the gracious handshake. I'm a sore loser. Fuck all if I want to extend my hand to the person who just kicked my ass.

There's something to be said about eating pasta!

(Disappointed for Serena)
