Arizona abandoned DST in 1968 (except for the railroads and the Dineh).

Why haven't your lazy-assed states done the same . . . if everyone hates it so much?

Or . . . Pete Booty-Gig can declare DST racist and "poof" . . . it's gone . . . allowing your legislators to work on more important state issues!

Good question!

They have forced me to believe it's due to laziness. Every March & November a few lawmakers have something to say about it, they draft and file paperwork and that's it. It never moves again. They don't put the work in. I could be wrong, there may be others who pay better attention to it than I do and have a better answer, but that's my opinion.

The time changes this weekend and I don't care. I'm liking the shorter days this time of year. The holiday season starts in just a few days on November 1st.

As much I enjoy the longer days, last year when we set the clocks forward I started waking up by 5:30am and that lasted all the way through until we set them back again. Currently I’m getting up a little before 7:00am and that’s fine by me. I hope I don’t have the same issue this year.
