Hi, I am Ali and this is the obligatory post about myself. I can be verbose so I'll just hit the highlights.

I wear lots of hats....have and have had lots of jobs/careers. The main one is Nurse Practitioner, which is basically an RN with a twist.

I'm also a professional astrologer. I limit my practice to real life clients though, so I'm not here selling anything. In fact, most of the astrological work I do is for free.

For as long as I can remember I have worked at least 2 jobs and have supported myself since I was 17 years old.

I am single and have never been married. I was engaged once and came very close to tying the knot but ended up changing my mind (with good reason).

I have an unhealthy fascination with serial killers and started studying astrology specifically to gain some insight into them. It's been an amazing study, and I am planning on writing a book about it because there are very few written on that particular subject.

Alienna is a beautiful name. Mine is Alizé. Mom named me after some brand of booze..she was a drunk with a sense of humor.

I love forensics and have read every book I could get my hands on about the subject. It is incredible how the astrology of violence plays out in each chart.

i started young adult life as an OR nurse.
developed a big interest in criminal law, became a certified paralegal and then trial court law librarian, read everything in sight. finally decided to be a cop so i could DO instead of just read.

i'll have to ask you to do my chart one day. heh.


edit to add: that might be a good thread topic, how did you decide what you wanted to be when you grew up?

I admire you for deciding to 'do' instead of just read..that takes some major guts. And do I ever understand getting OR burnout!

I LOVE forensics, and anything to do with it. When I was a kid I wanted to be an archaeologist but sometimes life sends us in other directions.

The most fascinating thing to me is where is the line between evil and mental illness? That's what drove me to nursing and finally to where I am now (in mental health). And even to astrology.

Jeff Dahmer, as disgusting as he was, was mentally ill. Manson, on the other hand is pure evil. I needed to define the line and that's what I've been working on for most of my life. Astrology has helped more than anything. I've reached a point where I can look at a chart and blatantly see child abuse and neglect. As well as most types of violence.

I have no choice in the matter because I am driven due to things that happened in my childhood and throughout my life. In the beginning, many times I actually burst into tears when I would find some aspect pertaining to my life. It was like.."well, there you are, I found you" and it's helped me come to terms with many things and get past them.

practice some place else There is no reason to hate obama, but there is ample reason to hate his politics, actually there is ample reason to hate any liberal politicians politics.
