IMO with them being at the Straubs the night before they set up a robbery would in a sense " Clear" them from the crime because of their DNA being there. This is what I think they thought. IMo they set it up to be robbed and it went bad. The lapse in time was the "wtf" moment on what to they do now?

How do we really know if they were really there the nite before?

this is just a rumor 2 i do kno alot of people who know jc personally and i heard that key that says 544 is for i guess a storage unit that held a large quanity of marijuana and alot of people wanted it i just heard this so i thought i would put it out there but this is just a rumor that i heard

Before posting this I want to be clear on 2 things. One, I asked for guidance from admin about this matter before posting & two, this is RUMOR from a 3^rd party.

My brother has worked at a local restaurant/pub for years & has regular customers. One of his regular costumers is good friends with a Toledo detective. The regular customer came into this establishment Thursday night & was chatting with my brother when this case came up in conversation. He claimed to have recieved insider information from his detective friend. I do trust my brother however I do not personally know this other person who gave my brother this information so again, it's 3^rd party.


This detectives friend claims that Lisa was in fact raped & that her tongue was either cut or cut out. I know there have been rumors swirling about a possible rape & I also know that there has been speculation about where the "pool" of blood on her face/side of head came from. If this is in fact true it would account for the blood. I really hope I do not hurt anyone close to Lisa in relaying what I have heard. I was hesitant to post this because I do not know it to be fact & didn't want to add to anyones pain, however there have been other rumors or 3^rd party information discussed here & I also asked for guidance/permission before hand.

I truly hope that this isn't true :(

I was born and raised in the area that this happened. I went to the same high school as Johnny Clarke. I know people who are loosely connected to the people involved. That is all I'm going to say about that.

First of all, Mr. Z is a minor.

Second of all, the police are not making any immediate arrests for good reason. You may have seen the movie "Double Jeopardy". You cannot try a person for a crime more than once. This means if an arrest is made and a conviction is saught, they have one shot of providing collected evidence to be considered in trial. If they jump too soon, and don't have a solid case with solid evidence, a jury may not feel proof has been 100% made for a conviction and once the person is aquitted, they cannot go back and try the person again.

Don't be mistaken and believe the people on here who say if a case isn't solved quickly then it won't be solve. That is completely false.

I have my opinion of what happened and will post it.

If they wanted to stop her from screaming, I'd imagine they'd stuff something in her mouth, or tape it shut, or threaten her or Johnny. I dunno....the tongue thing says let's show this snitch what happens when they talk, etc. to me. Maybe I'm thinking of a Good Fella movie or something? Thoughts?

OMG, who friggen rents a 5 x 10 to store marijuana. It is all about moving it. I don't know, I'm from the west coast and it is plentiful here. Easy come, easy go. Is weed harder to get in Toledo? Does Ohio have medical marijuana? Nevermind, I'll google it.

something's not right about this scenario, though. If it's true, I honestly doubt the perps would have left the key there. If a person is being tortured, beat, whatever, one of them would have given the key to the perps, IMO.

THE FOLLOWING IS MY OPINION

Maytee's reaction to getting a phone call saying her son won't answer his phone shows that she had reason to believe her son was not safe. I don't want to hear the "but she has psychic powers" bs. That's bs. She knew that she herself and/or her son are involved in dealing. Anyone involved knows that if you want to get killed, you mess with someone's money. Drug dealing is all about money, not making friends. She knows that he was either messing with someone's money or that he was being threatened.

Those of you who have said that this was someone who wanted to make a statement that "this is what happens when you fuck with my money" are correct.

it has to 100% be someone who knew them... too much of a coincidence the parents were out of town when this happened. i want to know why none of the neighbors saw anything??? and i think personally its irrelevant what he said on the phone when he was talking to tiffany.... regaurdless if he did or didnt say "who r u" they could have easily been wearing ski masks.
